I had a porterhouse for my birthday, it was awesome. Service was attentive and pleasant. Naturally the chain has a cozy and warm feeling. Clean bathrooms.

What a disappointment! I took a friend for a Christmas gift and the only thing good was the baked potato. Cold seating, we moved once but other people told us they were freezing. Then, rolls were cold, my salad was okay. I ordered coffee to warm me up. Haha, also barely warm. Server offered to brew new pot. Coffee came back mostly creamer even though waitress didn't even ask if I wanted cream. Obviously cold again. My friend got chili as a side, was lukewarm. But the worst part of all. Kitchen doused our steak with salt!! Horrible! Then I found out that the very salty small slice of onions cost 2.69 each!!!! Really- I'll not return!

Been there three times, waited 45min the last time my wife got an filet mignon it looked like an hamburger, I got n.y. strip ordered medium it was more than well done, told manager and he knocked off a little of the total....pitiful

Food quality tends to vary some occasionally, but for the most part food is Really really good. Would recommend installing the Texas Roadhouse App for the Reservation request ability. Can certainly save standing around for 15 minutes+ when they're bus

My parents came to the Athens, Ohio location October 25, 2025 for their 50th wedding anniversary. My father had just been released from the hospital a few days prior and is now on oxygen continuously. This is new for him and my parents are still trying to figure out this new lifestyle change. When they were seated at a table for 2 they asked to be moved to a bigger table due to needing room for my father’s oxygen tank. There were 2 booths right next to them and several other tables open. They were told no. They made due and then 15mins later a couple was sat at one of the booths. After they finished eating a manager came by their table and they explained what happened. They didn’t get an apology or anything. The manager just walked away. Our family will never go to this location again. This is not how customers should be treated, especially our elderly. DO BETTER!! My parents were just trying to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Heartbreaking!!
Everything was cooked really good, I ordered a steak with steak fries, and the seasoned rice. It would appear that Texas Roadhouse as a chain has become much more loader than before. I understand this is more of the class of people that Texas Roadhouse attracts, but sometimes it's a little too much. For instance, the music was so loud I could not here the person I was with. Other than that, service was great, food was good, and I happened to eat here on July 4th and the view of the fireworks the city of Athens sets off was perfect from by booth!!
