Was on the hunt for a tasty local coffee shop. This was probably my 4th or 5th different shop to try out and this is the one! This coffee has that true coffee flavor and has great service.

I got there about an hour before closing which probably explain the lack of food options. I got iced latte and anise almond biscotti, and both were good.

The batista (David) was excellent and selected a perfect selection based on my preferences. We had an enjoyable visit. I wish they had a shop in Columbus. I would go every morning. They are family owned and operated. Coffee like no other.

This is the best coffee in town! The proprietors are friendly and kind. It is an enjoyable experience, especially if you go when the weather is nice enough to sit outside and look at the river.
I love the fact that Town's End is convenient for me as I travel through Athens. I stop in on the way home or the way to town and it is easy to get to them and parking is ever so convenient. The coffee is always good and owner and staff are always good to me when I stop in. I recommend it highly. Stop in when you head down 33/50 on the way somewhere and need a pick me up for the journey.
