Food is just alright, tastes like classic mid western Chinese food. Nothing really has any real flavor but it’s enough to make you feel full. I’ve been a handful of times and each time I’ve ordered something new. This time my partner and I went with the General Tsos, Sesame Chicken, Kung pao chicken, lo mein, scallion pancake and egg drop soup. The general tsos was just your average generic chicken with tsos sauce, the kung pao chicken wasn’t spicy at all but had alright...
The menu would have you think that yummy house has a wide variety of options, however all the items we bought (beef & onion, ramen, pad thai) all tasted generic, and nothing was great, just fine. The staff is made up of apathetic apathetic children, take your money and give you your food, which is fine enough. All in all it’s not bad, it’s just not great, and not worth what you pay.
We used to order from here quite a lot until my fiancé's favorite dish was taken off their menu both on their website and Doordash-- War Su Gai. It is still featured on the paper menus, though. When he inquired about it at their door nobody even really acknowledged the question, or gave an answer. If they'd bring the dish back we'd order more often; also we wish that they would open the dining room. Food is good, though.
