We are currently waiting over 1 hr and 15 mins since the order has been placed. They are half full, and we have seen people come and go. The server is friendly enough, but she is also making drinks. The food arrived finally with a very over cooked burger, hanger steak that was med-well (ordered med rare) the mahi mahi was a thinner and smaller portion, not a filet(wondering if it was mahi mahi) served over oily risotto. The chopped salad was blendered and not buttermilk dressing. Dry sad crab cakes. Dry jambalya. They just missed every mark.

I had a lovely dining experience at Zoe. Wonderful ambience, great service, tasty food. I had the shrimp carbonara (8.5/10) and pomegranate martini (9/10) and a lemon drop (9/10). They make their own foccacia and it was so good! I hear the crab cakes are yummy so I'll be back. Excellent spot for dinner if you're a local or visitor to Athens.

Always had issues with either waiting too long after being seated, food not served as requested per dietary needs, or quality. Stopped going for good.

Very long wait for food, granted the server was both bartender and server to other tables. The food took over an hour and was not that great to begin with. Messed up one of the orders. Came here for a graduation dinner and honestly one of the bars would have had better food at a cheaper price.

A reservation was made two months prior to going to the restaurant on graduation night. Per a voicemail from the owner the next day, I was to call back with the time preferred between two options he gave and I was to give my credit card number. I did as requested the next day, leaving another message on the voicemail. Then I called back a week ago to confirm the reservation and I talked to an employee and was told that the time was moved up 30 minutes. When our party arrived to the restaurant we were told some of our party was there. It wasn’t our party. The table was given to another party! EVEN THOUGH MY LAST NAME WAS ON THEIR TABLE DIAGRAM FOR THE NIGHT!!! What??? We asked to speak to Scott the owner - he said there’s nothing they can do because they don’t have our credit card information. I showed them the phone receipts of when the calls were made to verify it happened, including speaking to someone at the restaurant a week ago and she confirmed the reservation!! Scott, the owner and chef, and the hostess walked away from us. I have NEVER experienced such a rude encounter in my life. Thanks for making my son’s college graduation night horrible for him and my family!

Really cozy, romantic restaurant with a delectable menu. The chef is extraordinarily creative. The wait staff are really knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Excellent cocktail and wine list as well. Great for date night or a group outing.

This was by far the best meal my husband and I have ever had. We are from the Toledo, Ohio area and came here for a get away. My husband has had many meals from all over the world. And myself have had my share of great meals from all over. This was by far an excellent experience from our first drink to the crème brûlée. Thank you again for our delicious dining experience!

Vegetable gnocchi and spinach risotto are both highly recommended.

What a wonderful dinner!!! We had the crab cakes, Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and the most beautiful long-stem artichokes that I thought I’d never get outside Rome. The Chicken Picatta was outstanding the the Burger was a big hit with the kids. Thanks everyone at Zoe for making this a memorable dinner!

This is a cosy, bistro style restaurant with a variety of freshly prepared dishes. The menu changes based on what is in season. The restaurant also prides itself in trying to source mostly local ingredients. The ambience and atmosphere is very cosy and the staff are super awesome and friendly. The food is also moderately priced, especially considering how high quality it is. It also has a wonderful wine selection and a bar that can mix most drinks. It is also located just off Court Street so it is in downtown Athens, but not in the hustle and bustle of the bars on Court Street. I definitely recommend visiting Zoe's if you are ever in Athens, OH.

Our meal was fantastic from start to finish. I had the chopped salad, the scallop dish with mashed potatoes and chocolate crème brûlée for desert. So delicious. Scott you are a wonderful chef!!

First time there. Interesting menu choices. As a party of 2 couples, we ordered three different entrees. Strip steak, smoked salmon offering, and scallops offering. All were delicious. Two of us had a nicely prepared salad, which was a finely chopped mold of greens, nuts, etc. Service was great! Cost was pricier than other local chains, but certainly less than the Ohio University Inn, which is outrageously expensive with poor quality offerings. The ambience was welcoming. Linen table coverings and taped R and B instrumentals. We will return!

Great local fine dining. Anytime we have an anniversary or have family in town, we come here. Consistently delicious with consistent high quality dishes. You can't go wrong having a nice dinner out.
