atmosphere was what you desire for a bar…cozy/comfortable with a slight mood. beautiful bar and pretty seating both inside and out on a patio. I didn’t get food so I can’t speak for that, but the drink service was swift and the staff was very friendly. even fellow patrons were super nice.
if I ever return to aurora ohio, I will return to the dark horse tavern.

Just had an amazing dinner. The best pasta in Ohio. I had the tomato and peach Bucatini. The peach gave a slight sweetness to the sauce. Then it had burrata and pecorino for savory. Amazing and well done. Grew up in Italy and NY, not easy to please. The wine list is well thought out with the consumer in mind. Love the Italian and French varietals. We will be back next week!!

Food quality and presentation 10/10. Best food and cocktails in the area…by far. We were very impressed and very surprised to find this restaurant located inside the hotel (different owners).
