This is our 2nd time here. The first time was great. This time, we had a waitress who neglected to mention happy hour or the price fixed menu. She handed us the sheets but gave no description at all about what was or was not included in happy hour. I asked about drinks and was given a different answer than the table next to us. We ordered two appetizers. The calamari was excellent. The "crispy" artichokes were not what I expected. They were deep fried artichoke hearts from a can. They were passable but nothing special. For dinner I ordered the appetizer crab cake. It was pure jumbo lump crabmeat and was excellent. But the salad greens were baby raw spinach with just some oil, salt and pepper. I asked for lemon to squeeze over it to give it some flavor. My husband ordered the stuffed peppers. The description sounded different from the actual dish. It was two long hot peppers stuffed. My husband was expecting something different, but the manager came by and graciously replaced the dish with their meatball appetizer, which my husband did enjoy. I thought the prices were a little high for what we got, except for the crab cake. We will go back because it's convenient, but not rushing to make it a weekly or even monthly event.

Our server was clearly not trained in serving and pouring wine. Food was great, ambience was good just need to improve on service.

Beautiful restaurant and great service and food. Our waitress Lynley B was outstanding. Checked on us often without being annoying. I would highly recommend coming here.

We didn't realize it was restaurant week. I don't know if that made a difference but two of us had the chicken scallopini. The pasta was hard and the chicken was dry. The sauce had a good flavor, but it was a disappointing meal. Our server was excellent although my friends first course did not arrive until the three of us had finished ours. I've been before and the food and service have been excellent. I'll just never go again during restaurant week.

Orchid House has a great menu and has been beautifully renovated but it is so loud that you cannot have a conversation, people are actually yelling to hear each other. We will not be back because it is so unpleasant. I don't understand why restaurants don't put up sound proofing.

Come here once a week-my wife's chicken scalopini was very good- my crispy artichokes were good -meatball was smaller than I thought it might be-we mentioned it was my wife's birthday-would be nice for a small desert to note such an occasion(suggestion)

Great brunch. Everyone loved their meals: breakfast, eggs benedicts and hot chicken sandwich

Disappointing. Waitress was adorable. She was very knowledgeable about wine altho very limited choices for a winery! We got our salads and as we re in MIDDLE of our salad our food came out!!!! That was crazy. They apologized but we had to keep the dinners because we didn't want it to go back and get cold but it was very disruptive and we didn't get past it too easily. They offered free dessert but maybe a feee meal better cuz we didn't want dessert. Don't think we ll recommend or go back. Maybe in nicer weather when doors are open. Very loud.

We absolutely adore Orchid House. Enjoying the beautiful grounds with a crisp glass of wine makes for a perfect summer evening. Having Haley there to pour is even better. Her knowledge of the wine and food is impressive but the joy and charisma that exudes her is even better. We will be frequent patrons 🫶🏼

Disappointed, promised a private space for a group bday meal… in a room w 8 other tables. Kind waitress, but food arrived cold & not optimal for prices charged.

Met a few girlfriends for dinner and we had a great time. The charcuterie (soooo good!) was excellent for the price, as were the crispy artichokes. Portion sizes for entrees were on the small side for the price. Short rib gnocchi was very good but it was also dry and could have used more sauce. I had a glass of Sauv Blanc ($17 for 5oz pour) and it was just okay. We had a 7pm reservation and they turned the music off around 8pm (they close at 9), which shifted the atmosphere a bit. The interior is absolutely beautiful and seating was comfortable. Definitely would return!

Disappointing. 45 minutes to be served, did not bring what I ordered. Did not refresh the coffee (I was there for brunch). Food was "ok" at best. $14 Bloody Mary with no garnish. The physical building and property are beautiful, just wished the experience lived up to the $100 bill

Wonderful experience at Orchid House. Delicious food and Linley was fabulous! We had the crispy artichokes which were to die for 😉 The meatball was much too spicy for my taste and no warning on the menu about that, so Linley switched it out to a delicious Crab Cake. My friend had the $10burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. Now for the wine… the Pinot Noir was absolutely excellent for a Napa CA wine! And the champagne toast at the end was a great treat. I will be back.

I went to Orchid House last night for wine and dessert. I asked the server to list the white wines from driest to sweetest and she couldn't. I asked her what was a good dessert wine. She didn't know. She said she hasn't tried all the wines, yet. I asked her how long she had been working there, thinking a week or two. She said four months. I suggested she try the wines and learn them. I thought, "this is ok. I'll go with samples." She couldn't tell me the order to drink the wines based on flavor profile. She said, "we don't do that here. You just drink them." I have never in all my days, going to some of the simplest wineries, not had someone give me an order to drink the wine. She forgot which one was which. So I just drank them. When she came back she asked if I decided on a glass, but seeing that I didn't know what I was drinking I just stuck to the three samples. We ordered pumpkin creme brulee and a piece of cheesecake. She brought the cheese cake and said, "I have two spoons for you." So we giggled and just shared the cheesecake. It was the cheapest night out since I couldn't order the wine and only got half the food we ordered. We had a lovely time walking around the garden. It's a beautiful facility and I took home one of The Root Hospitality magazines. I see that you are trying to be something excellent in the restaurant scene, and from the top you are striving towards excellence. I would suggest that you invest in training your serving staff so the bottom of your organization can make a positive impact on your guest's experience, also. I might come back for the garden, but I'm not in a rush to do so. I sincerely hope this review helps your business to improve, because you can be unmatched in local dining experience if you get this right. Best wishes.

We had a delicious dinner this evening. I had the scallops and my husband had the rack of lamb. Everything was excellent! Lynley was our server and she was excellent! We will be back!
