“I was in the mood for a proper comfort food breakfast. So I went on down to Scenna’s Family Restaurant in Niles, Ohio. This is the quintessential cozy Ohio restaurant for sure. I loved my waitresses, she had a southern Ohio accent for sure & was just the sweetest. My seating options were tables, booths or at the counter, I chose a table. I ordered “The Mess” a big omelet with everything in it. I also order 1 buttermilk pancake & toast. I love real buttermilk pancakes, my waitress said I wouldn’t be disappointed, I was not. The pancake was awesome, such a nice size & unbelievable tasty. The Omelet was huge, I couldn’t finish it, I’ll finish it up tomorrow. I did take advantage of the bottomless cup of coffee, my waitress was on point every time it got a little low. I really enjoyed my morning here, the atmosphere was just a down home feel. You really have to have a meal here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.“
“Had a wonderful holiday lunch here and absolutely all of our food was delicious. One of the best restaurants I have been to. I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was so juicy and was easily the most flavorful lamb I've ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious and tasted so fresh. The aged Manhattan is one of the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was also quite tasty and they give you quite a large amount of it. Will definitely be going back very soon!“
“The atmosphere is casual. Food is always served super hot and freshly made on my experience. They have various dishes that I like but the Carne frita with mofongo is my favorite, a little different from the traditional PRican mofongo though. The texture and flavor has little twist to it... Their mofongo is more like Dominican Republic's mangú which is made with boiled plantains instead of fried... but still very good. They have also a bar, pool table and domino table which is cool. Portions are generous and the prices are moderate.“

“Stopped here today for the first time after a dr.'s appointment to check it out for the family (we love family owned diners). My everything Omelet and home fries, were amazing and huge portions. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Had to take half my breakfast home. Can't wait to come back with the rest of the family. Heads up, it is cash only. Wasn't a big deal for me but something to be aware of for those who don't carry it. As we waited to be seated elderly couple wife tried to complain about food while husband called her out on it once waitress went to get manager to adjust bill. They when we sat, we were seated in a booth next to minorities with an indecent vocabulary around other customers children at establishment. I corrected their vocabulary by showing my retired LE credentials and asking the to refrain fir speaking disrespectful around patrons.....they left shortly after.....“
“One of my local Bob Evans on Belmont Ave. in Youngstown. A big ol’ parking lot with lots of parking spots as well as handicap parking. I was greeted by my server how seated me quickly. Seating options are tables or booths, I always get a table. The menu is classic southern comfort food, and you can never go wrong there. My server was extremely polite and attentive, she got my coffee out fast & hot. I ordered my favorite breakfast meal, cooked perfectly & tasty. I like this Bob Even’s because it’s close to home, always clean & the food is good. I enjoy my meals here, I think you will too.“
