They have the best brunch menu. I travel about 20 minutes each way Saturday and Sunday for their Carolina breakfast. The cheese grits are my favorite! And their spicy ranch on the potatoes are a close second! All for $12!

Stopped for lunch. Huge portions- I got fish n chips (sweet potato fries) , so yummy. My husband got the chicken pot pie, and my son got a cheeseburger and fries. Also, the carrot cake and turtle cheesecake was amazing. Took those to go. The atmosphere is super cozy, and you'd never guess what the inside of the restaurant looks like from the location or the outside. Was my first time visiting and I'll definitely be back.

This is a cozy little eatery with a nice ambiance. I like the choice of 70s-90s music piped in at a low volume. The servers are very nice, attentive and efficient. Parking is easy. Melissa’s in University Hts. was one of my favorites, so I wanted to like this one more than I do. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is very inconsistent and often disappointing. Although the dishes look interesting and appealing on the menu, there aren’t many dishes I would actually order again. The food I’ve ordered for takeout doesn’t travel well either, even for one mile. Also all of the tables are annoyingly sticky. I so want to love this place, but sadly I don’t.

The tacos were wonderfully homemade with steak and ample toppings.

We waited ten minutes to be seated but it was Sunday brunch time so that's to be expected. Service was quick. Blueberry pancakes with lemon marscapone for me and a Faith scramble for my husband. Great choices and the potatoes!!!!! We will definitely be back! One note: booth by the door has a wobbly back.

We just happened to find this place on a Tuesday. They have the best tacos I've ever had in all my 69 years . I've tried tacos just about everywhere you have to stop at Melissa's they have the best food the nicest people working there. We will make this a normal place to stop since they are open till 8:00 p.m.. I have an excellent staff an awesome cook we highly recommend you stop in and see this place. If you can't find it look at Buffalo wild wings and it's right across

We used Cafe Melissa for our wedding, everything was amazing! We got so many compliments on the food all evening. The brussel sprouts and the fried green tomatoes were especially beloved. If we could go back and do it over, I would choose Cafe Melissa again!
I cannot say enough good things about Melissa’s Cafe. My group of 60 people booked their food truck for our annual summer picnic at a local golf course pavilion. About 1/2 hour before the event was to start, Jenn, one of the managers, called to inform me that the food truck would not start. A repair service had been called, but the truck would not be repaired in time. What to do with 60 very hungry guests waiting impatiently? Well, Jenn and Chef Matt were like Superman to the rescue. The said, “Give us 40 minutes.” Exactly 40 minutes later, they arrived, along with all the delicious hot foods (8 items) that we had ordered, set us a hot buffet, and served the crowd until we literally could not eat another scrumptious bite. Kudos to this restaurant for going the extra mile to not let us down. So many guests said that their commitment to getting the job done, would make them loyal customers for life.

Delicious! The food was wonderful! The first time I ate everything on my plate. The potatoes were amazing with the sauce that is drizzled on top. Flavored cream was available but it is not always . I went on a good day! ☺️ It is small that conversation can feel like you are sharing every word with the table next to you.The server and hostess were cleaning the tables it would be more convenient if there was someone to assist. The employee all seem to have a good attitude.I will go back!
