Food is great, however they have a big capacity issue. Orders can take more than hour and a half. Been there and they are slow too, should warned the customer of the waiting times. When I ordered online today the order took more than hour and a half. The driver waiting there losing money, I had a brunch with a friend which I couldnt fed. I ordered somewhere else. But you can't cancel an order on door dash. I lost my money and time. The place should not take door dash orders if they can make them in reasonable time. Not worth the hustle. Disrespectful. Do not own a place if you don't know how to drive proper operations. I am still waiting for the driver to pick up the food. He texted me again he has been told it will be ready soon. That has been since 10 30 am it is noon now. The lady in the kitchen was very rude because of my previous review. She doesn't want to serve my orders because I left an honest review that is not the only one, that doesn't solve the problem. Been understaffed is an issue but you can be honest with the waiting times to your customers and people can plan ahead or decide to wait or not. Today the place was empty tho. And it didn't seem understaffed. it is sad a restaurant with good food has that very bad management and very bad service. Some people don't understand how businesses work. I won't be surprised if I see this place closing down as many others. If she would have approached to me in a different way we could have talked about last experience and this time make it right and I could have delete the review and keep being a recurrent customer as I was. Been rude and yelling at someone it is not the way to solve issues. I felt sorry for that lady. I don't think she is happy there or with their life.
Stay away from this place, they don't deserve either want your money.

Tried to dine in and had a weird experience. They don’t appear to have enough staff to run the place.
There were only 2 people working in the entire restaurant, the cook and a server. The restaurant was about half full, other than the occupied tables every single table was dirty and covered in dirty dishes.
The table we were told to go to didn’t have any dirty dishes but clearly wasn’t wiped down and still had grease on it and there was food debris on the seats.
There were two elderly gentlemen sitting right toward at the entrance of rhetorical dining area, as we walked by they said “Good luck getting any service!”
I wiped down our table and seat, we waited for a bit while the elderly gentlemen clearly had enough and yelled out to the waitress to get some service “… today, not tomorrow!”
Never got menus or anything and we left.

First time in today and the experience was overall very good! Only thing different I would suggest is a sign up front saying to seat yourself so it’s not as confusing and maybe for the person in the kitchen to smile since it’s the first face we see! Our server was great, very pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge! We will definitely come back again!

Terrible and racist experience. Along with my two kids, I went in for breakfast after my appointment. Despite of having half restaurant tables available, the server with cold attitude made us wait for 10-15mins. However, within 10mins two ladies walked in and they were welcomed very warmly and seated before me. Upon reaching out to her, she rudely asked me to take any table and she’ll come by when ready. I called out her behavior, for which she said, “I am the only one working and that lady had a knee pain so I seated her first.” Even though I had an infant and was waiting for like good 15 minutes. The server got defensive and refused to serve me. I left with my kids letting her know I wasn’t interested either in dining-in with this terrible customer service. Management needs to be aware of their employees’ actions. As much as my daughter wanted to try the cafe, without respect nothing is acceptable. We went to Melissa’s cafe after and was treated with respect.

In town from NC so we stopped in for lunch at this unassuming place in a strip mall. What a great decision. I doubt this place makes anything not up to par. Everything was fantastic. I had the Chicken & Waffles....WOW!.....my son had the Big Breakfast and after some sampling I decided that was the thing I would order next time...my other son had the S'mores French Toast and he's demanding we return before we go home...my wife had a Skillet with eggs, Jalapeños, potaotes, peppers, and some absolutely tasty corned beef hash. Great place, friendly service. Happy we got to have a great dining experience that makes you feel like you didn't waste your money and the food was great. We will return here whenever we're in town.

Went to The Kitchen for the first time this morning and fell in love. Evelyn the manager was so kind and attentive. Food was delicious and not over priced like everything else these days.
