This location used to be fantastic, speedy service, busy and great food. The food is still great but the service has become mediocre at best. With less than half capacity in the dining room and a fairly empty parking lot before 9 am we are asked to wait at the door for 10 minutes (15 and counting at this moment) this time and it was 20 minutes our previous visit. I could drive to the next location in Westlake and be seated in less time or more detrimental to this location is that Perkins is a 5 minute drive across the highway and they seat us immediately. Being in a customer oriented business, I can recognize this as a lack of leadership. If the dining area is empty, why seat people by the cold entry door unless the goal is to discourage more people from coming in and possibly filling your restaurant with paying customers. I may give this location one more chance because our servers have been excellent and we like the food but everytime we do the mood is ruined when we are asked to wait for a seat in an empty dining room. Last week we were at Perkins. Next week we will be as well. We used to come here EVERY week for 10 years or better. Now it is about once per month because we are hoping it gets better. Hope only gets you so far.

The host told everyone walking in the wait was “at least 20 minutes” when it was really closer to an hour. I feel this is intentionally misleading. Our server was great. Food took forever and was cold. Oddly the restaurant was not very full for a Sunday brunch. I don’t know if they were short staffed or what. What I don’t appreciate is having a significant amount of my day wasted waiting for cold food. If the wait is long you owe it to people to tell them.

Visited my first Bob Evans at this location a few days ago with family, and had a great experience. The wait for 4 was a bit long but only because it was so busy — a telling sign — it was well worth the wait! Our server was wonderful, super kind and accommodating for a disabled person and service animal, she even brought her a bowl of water and asked if the seating was okay. Food came out quickly and was great! 5 stars! I am a breakfast connoisseur and the 2 breakfast sandwich with sausage gravy was literally perfect. Would absolutely return and recommend!
This was for a company breakfast event. Ordered the Sunshine Skillet, side of bacon and coffee. All were perfectly prepared, fresh and hot.
