“If you ever need a quiet place with a good atmosphere to study or read this is your spot. The coffee is especially good, I tend gravitate to a iced latte or cold brew, there are variety of syrups and milk choices to meet your needs. Additionally if you need beans whole or ground for home you can pick up a bag to meet your at home needs, which are just as fantastic.

The real star of the show is the owner who is always kind, warm, and friendly every time I frequent this cafe. He is well versed in the craft and will offer a bevy of recommendations if you don't have a clue what kind a drink you want along with some friendly chat.

Fair warning though the daily trivia questions can be tricky!”

“I am a Diabetic and when I spoke to one of your Bartenders in the back bar on St. Patricks Day heavily busy and told her I was at a Low and needed food she Knew INSTANTLY since as she told me her Mom is a diabetic, she got me ordered and seated even crowded within minutes I had my sandwich and was eating and glucose went from 69 back to 125 to 130 levels! “It's one of my favorite places to shop! It can get busy, but it's not hard to figure out when it's not. It doesn't take long to get a membership card, and they are so nice even when you lose your card. Their bakery and meals are delicious! Sometimes, it's hard to find things since they rotate products on a regular basis, but if it's not in an aisle, check the end cap. They often have people giving away samples of food. I've discovered a few things trying samples. Like mango salsa and Cretor's cheese and Carmel popcorn mix. The chocolate covered raisins ate are also highly recommended! You might want to stay away from the cilantro lime rice, though. I had an issue with moldy boxes at the Strongsville Costco store. I'm not sure about this store's cilantro lime rice, but that incident turned me off. I notified the store, but they didn't pull it.
Cakes are also recommended! I ordered and had my cake the next day. The pictures at the store do not do justice. They show the cakes decorated in bright red and blue. The one I ordered in blue and purple was beautiful!”

5/31/16 - First time eating here. I ordered a personal pizza with pepperoni and sausage as well as some Sriracha wings and garlic parm wings. Took it to go, but ordered at the counter so had time to chat with the employees. Very friendly people and professional.

The food was great! The wings were fall-off-the-bone tender and had good flavor. Love that they are baked and not deep fried! The pizza was good, too. It reminded me of Angelo's in Lakewood a bit.

Their menu has appetizers, salads, about 20 specialty pizzas, pastas and subs. They do pizza "by the slice" from 11 AM - 3 PM weekdays, I believe.

It's a new business in Avon, but they've been around since 1955, starting on Mayfield Road in Cleveland.”

“I attended a baby shower here and the room was spacious with a beautiful view of the outdoor botanical gardens thru glass walls. The indoor plant conservatory was nearby and it's so pretty, even in dreary weather! You can tell the plants and fish are well cared for. Conservatory staff are really nice and the small gift shop has cute seasonal and butterfly knick knacks. Both the Orchid Room, indoor and outdoor gardens, and restrooms are all accessible for wheelchair users. The Orchid Room has a kitchen area for cooking and heating up food for big gatherings. If you reserve the Orchid Room, the usual $2 fee per person to see the indoor gardens is waived for your guests who attend which was really nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are smooth walkways to both indoor and outdoor gardens and no stairs. The Orchid Room, gift shop, and restrooms have flat flooring and disabled restroom stalls. Easily accessible for wheelchair users!”

“I live near Vermilion . I called this deli for assistance. My Aunt just died. I wanted to send her family food to ease their daily burden during this difficult time. This deli showed up and put out. They are compassionate understanding and showed up for my family. My family expressed to me how delicious everything was. If you are in need during a family life event you should consider this establishment. They truly, went out of their way to accommodate my family during a time of grief.”

Very rude staff. Lost our online order and told us we must have sent it to the wrong store. Was sent a text that our order was ready at the Nagel store the staff was ignoring us for 10 mins. There was only 2 other costumers in the store. All the teen girls were fighting over who was working harder instead of helping us. One girl asked what my wife’s name was she told her the girl repeated her name but said carrot and laugh about getting it wrong I think it was a dig at her since my wife insisted that we had the right store. Then she was insisting that they never had the order. Only one girl was responsible enough to help us out. And looked at the online orders and found it. This store needs an adult to manage the teen staff they have. This was my first time at pulp”

“Ordered a large pepperoni and sausage. I thought that the pepperoni was supposed to be edge to edge, but it was only half covered. Really disappointed. I lived in Columbus for 33 years and was always satisfied with their pizza. I guess Avon doesn't care.”

“I recently saw a commercial for Tropical Smoothie Cafe for their açaí bowls and was instantly excited to try them! My husband stopped in after work and was pleasantly surprised to see the employees cutting up the fruit fresh and the bowls packed to the top of the to go container! My husband put them in his lunch box and drove the 20 minutes home and the bowls still looked great and tasted absolutely delicious!!! We are frequent visitors to Hawaii and have had many many açaí bowls during our time on Hawaii, Tropical Smoothie Cafe - you’ve done an excellent job of recreating something delicious and quite similar to what we’ve had on Hawaii. Add a little mango and pineapple and you’ve nailed it. We will be back again very soon!!! Next time I will post photos. ?”
