Do you see fresh food anywhere being used to make your drinks? No, it is a collaboration of numerous powders and syrups with a ton of sugar. As long as you know it is dessert disguised as "nutrition" (not good nutrition) and that it is just MLM products used, you'll survive.“
“We’ve been to this location quite a few times already since my mom has been in and out of the Cleveland Clinic at Avon. There are SO MANY flavor combinations to choose from, but my go-to is the Orange Ginger Elixir with an energy boost and for the days when I need a little something extra, I like to also get the wheatgrass shot with a freshly-squeezed OJ chaser. Looking forward to trying other smoothies and juices - for when you’re feeling under the weather or even if you just need a little something different, you can’t go wrong with this place and my personal favorite is the one in Avon, OH. “Cute location in downtown elyria, decent amount of off the street parking, baristas were great. I had a maple latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese..the bagel was sooo soft and fresh I could've eaten 6! Latte was good too. I wish they had more sugar free options, the chairs to the tables were a bit low/small compared to the table so it felt like being a kid at an adults table ? but overall a good experience and we'll be back!“

“Got the chicken salad wrap it was very flavorful and my buddy got a spicy steak bowl he enjoyed it as well. Server was very insightful when I asked about the menu. She then told us about future events that are happening here. Back patio is very spacious and a lot of shade. Music playing is very calming. All in all a very good experience and I will be returning very soon.“

The only small complaint I have is the oranges are always so sour every time I get my favorite orange chill. Cute little spot to sit and eat if you grab something. “Huge salads for the price. Staff are very courteous. Love the many different options to choose from. They also serve soup, wraps, and smoothies. I have had their soup which has always been good. I had a wrap once and it was a nice size and delicious. I haven't had a smoothie yet. This is our go to place for a nice dinner salad.“
“For the price, it just makes sense. I have had smoothies here as meal replacements. So far, so filling. Maybe it's the whey protein. And they take their smoothies all the whey. lol The 800 lb gorilla (banana, PB, frozen yogurt, soy milk, chocolate, multi-vitamin, whey) and the Nuts over protein (coffee, PB, cinnamon, raw honey, frozen yogurt, multi-vitamin whey) are quite tasty and filling. The Nuts has that dash of cinnamon was is a tasty surprise! Robeks is almost always busy when we're there. Thats a good sign. A bunch of young people work here, but they are pretty quick to move, friendly, and what I like the most is that they don't use a ton of ice which makes smoothies taste blandish from the water. For about $9, you get a Super Size smoothie or they also have smoothie bowls. I've had one, loved the crunchy puffed rice?, but the glob of peanut butter (meh), and the açai underneath was too liquid for me to spoon. The credit card machine on the left has had issues with the chip malfunctioning for the past few times I've been. I'll keep coming here, you can't beat $9 for lunch. :)“
“I recently saw a commercial for Tropical Smoothie Cafe for their açaí bowls and was instantly excited to try them! My husband stopped in after work and was pleasantly surprised to see the employees cutting up the fruit fresh and the bowls packed to the top of the to go container! My husband put them in his lunch box and drove the 20 minutes home and the bowls still looked great and tasted absolutely delicious!!! We are frequent visitors to Hawaii and have had many many açaí bowls during our time on Hawaii, Tropical Smoothie Cafe - you’ve done an excellent job of recreating something delicious and quite similar to what we’ve had on Hawaii. Add a little mango and pineapple and you’ve nailed it. We will be back again very soon!!! Next time I will post photos. ?“
