Cork & Barrel Wine Bar and Restaurant

I love this place. Favorite place in town for a weekday or weekend out.

Didn’t tell anyone they were going out of business when we booked our event. No tablecloths, dirty, dingy and way overpriced for what was delivered.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, food , and friendly staff. There is an extensive selection of great wines, beers and sprits. Definitely a gem!

Every time we visit, the food is absolutely amazing! The wine selection is great, and the desserts are decadent! It's one of our favorite places in Avon!

Stopped at Cork and Barrel in Avon for dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations for 5:30'but really didn't need them. There is a bar area with seating at the bar and several tables too. The wine menu was very extensive with a few beers, 2 draft beers and several cocktails. We were seated in the dining area which had several tables and chairs. We started with the stuffed dates and white chicken chili, Flatbread with pepperoni, side salad and pasta with meatballs. All were served hot and served quickly. Menu was limited to sandwiches and several entrees and some daily specials. Prices were average. We were pleased with our entire dinner service.

LOVE cork and barrel!!! Vaughn and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Great food and music 🙂

Great wine, good food, and live music every time we've been there. Usually a solo acoustic guitar, perfect for the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Food was alright, nithing soecial. Waited forever for our food. Too short staffed to even get refills. Band was smoking right next to the tables. Owner/Manager was more interested in socializing with the band than picking up the slack for the short staff who couldn't get to all the tables quick enough. Super inefficient serving workflow, brining 2 drinks at a time then going back in for another table's ketchup, then bringing one other tables waters, etc. Won't go back.

I won’t be back. I was excited to give this place a try and finally made it there. It was pretty dead which was fine since we got seated right away. The place is very cute and charming. Food was decent, drinks good, server made this a horrible experience.

Our server pretty much degraded our drink and dinner choices. I understand suggesting options but this guy gave me a dirty look for ordering Moscato. He suggested broadening my wine palette which I appreciate the tips but his tone was very condescending & quite frankly I came to enjoy an evening out not be lectured about trying something else because my choice was “white kool aid”.. it made me want to not try the drink at all and stick to water. I thought maybe it would end there but nope. When it came to ordering our meals, I wasn’t feeling hungry honestly after the experience so far, so I ordered the side salad with chicken.. again with the nasty look and asking if I even read the rest of the menu…. He then talked my husband out of his choice of the classic burger and pressured him to order the other more expensive option. To be fair, the food was decent, nothing to write home about but the server was very rude in my opinion. The lady who sat us seemed nice, I wish we would’ve got her, maybe it would’ve been different. :(

The owner is such a nice guy! Their food and “adult beverages “ are outstanding!!!! Love to come here and enjoy! You won’t regret coming here, that’s for sure!!!

Went there last night, Eric the server was fantastic, super friendly knowledgeable. Service was fast, food was amazing (albeit portions are small on apps) but everything was delicious. We stayed for well over two hours on their great patio, great music, great selection, can't say enough good things about this place. A hidden gem hiding in plain site.
