I am visiting from southwest Florida. Ive been to a lot of different hibachi restaurants and I have to say.. this is probably one of the best ones ive been to. The sushi was delicious. And the hibachi was even better. I wish I knew what our hibachi chefs name was, he had a beard and he was hilarious.(and cooked our food to perfection)And the spicy yum yum sauce was killer. I will definitely be coming back the next time im visiting.

Family dinner for 10. Service was good and portions were good. Clear soup was really great. Scallops could have used more Seasoning in my opinion but overall a great experience. Big place that had several different seating areas.

We go there for all are birthday celebrations. December 27 was by far the worst ever. The cook was terrible, over cooked everything. Was not entertaining at all . Very disappointed for my birthday. Might be are last visit.

We have ate here on many occasions. The food has always been subpar but we generally enjoy the experience. We planned to go here Christmas Eve with our family. I called the day before and no reservations needed. We arrive for early dinner to be informed they only take those with reservations on holidays and weekends, “the hot spot of Avon, very popular”. Why don’t you close then if you aren’t accepting walk ins? We went to Cheesecake Factory, sat immediately and had a great experience and food. Worked out well for us. I would not recommend these place & attitude made their sub par food not worth returning.

This is exactly what you want out of hibachi, excellent show and delicious food. If you can ask, ask for Andy for tour Chef. The best jokes and cooked the shrimp and steak perfectly.

Me and my fiancé just came here and ordered take out spent about 80$ I got scallops shrimp chicken he got lobster and steak … the food I can admit was fresh but as far as it tasting like hibachi heck no ! Zero seasoning or flavor and the entrees were sitting in a soup like sauce .. never had hibachi “wet” my fiancé barely had any lobster on his kind of disappointment because this was expensive..
So was hoping to go here and have a good experience, enjoy some good hibachi. Unfortunately, I was left a little disappointed. Thankfully the people I was sitting with were quite kind and made the evening, just wish I could have said the same about the food.
So in short…here’s my review.
Food - Veggies and rice were ok. Can’t really complain there. Steak and chicken were cooked fine as well, with the steak being the better of the two. From what I could see, I felt this place tends to over saturate the food with their house teriyaki sauce, which leaves a bit to be desired.
Food Allergies and Special requests - While I myself did not have any allergies or requests, the other guests at my table did. Those guess clearly relayed those concerns to the waitress who took our order an again to the chef at the table, before he started cooking. Unfortunately, it seemed that the chef forgot during the cook and the waitress also did not clearly label the concerns on the meal ticket for the chef, which resulted in some eye stares between me and the other guests and the restaurant to cook a portion for the other guest in the back of house.
Cleanliness - some room for improvement. Table was generally clean, but you could clearly see that the table was wiped off quickly with minimal lack of care. Chef also did not clean grill immediately after the cook which I have never seen happen at another hibachi restaurant.
While the chef I think overall did a decent job with good humor and jokes for the show; overall, I wish the restaurant just put a little more effort and care into their food (not drenching it in sauce) and more effort in their cleanliness and care for customers modifications.
Not sure I’d ever return. Hope it gets better.

1st time ever there! Was pleasantly surprised it wasn't too busy on a Saturday night, but we arrived early around 4:30. There is a hibachi area, but we chose the regular restaurant side. Dimly lit, nice serene n quiet atmosphere. The sever was attentive, and friendly. The food was amazing! Cooked to perfection..everything from the sushi, the rice, shrimp tempura, dumplings, soup, and the salads! You won't be disappointed! PHOTOS TO FOLLOW!
Took a large group here for a birthday, everyone got sick after. The food tasted good but the aftermath was not pleasant. The service was slow as it took them 15+ minutes to bring our check after we were all finished. Interior atmosphere needs an update. Hibachi chef was great with the kids, this was the bright spot.
