Went with the family for dinner on a Monday night. The wait wasn't bad considering how busy they were, and the service was good. I ordered the "Fire" burger and my son ordered the "Market Burger" which is a bit pricier than the other burger options because it comes with spare rib meat on it. Except his didn't. Aside from tomato, lettuce, and cheese, there were no toppings to be found on either of our cheeseburgers. No jalapeno jam or spicy aioli on mine, either. The burger patty was good, and it was cooked perfectly. But it was bland. And the fries were cold. Not worth it for the money.

After having to switch gears for our Girl Scout Troop Friendsgiving very last minute due to another restaurant advising to call ahead a couple of days with our larger group and them basically refusing our group when we got there, we landed at Hecks. Thank you for saving our Girl Scout Troop's Friendsgiving outing. The food was great, the service was amazing and management obviously has their stuff together. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

The food was delicious. We went for a special occasion, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Our server anticipated our needs. We had the baked brie, which was amazing. We then had a Hecks burger and I've never had such a good burger. It was a little pricey, but worth the extra cost.

We enjoyed a delicious meal and relaxed setting at Hecks' new location. Our server was very attentive and had excellent recommendations. The Avon burger, truffle fries, and pretzel bread pudding dessert were delicious!

My food was good but lukewarm. Our waitress was fantastic. very loud restaurant so hard to even have a conversation with those of us at our table and we were in a corner. I can't imagine being in the center of the room.

We went here on a Sunday night, and it was busier than expected, but still no wait time. Service was excellent. We ordered at the table but unfortunately had to get food to go and leave. Even taking it home my burger was the bomb! Can only imagine how good fresh from the kitchen. The menu is incredible, exactly the fancy funky burger selection my heart desired! And to have gluten free buns?! Heaven. And the music they were playing was right up my alley 😊

The atmosphere is what makes it special. The garden room with the glass ceiling gives it a unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else in Avon—bright, open, and perfect for brunch or dinner. It feels upscale without being pretentious, which makes it just as good for a casual night out as it is for a date or family dinner.

Hecks in Avon has a wonderful outdoor covered patio/terrace area that has the flex of removable walls and windows to adjust to the weather. It's a great atmosphere! Food has always been consistently good. Burgers are awesome. Service has been excellent and the speed with which the food is brought to the table is impressive. My only suggestion is that they give WAY too many french fries with the burgers. It's a massive pile. And half the time they don't taste fresh, like they've been sitting around awhile or were reheated. Tonight mine tasted like they were fried in old oil. I asked the server about the portion size and his opinion was that it was about 50/50 if people typically eat the whole pile or do not finish them at all. Milkshakes for dessert are good and unusual treat easy to take to-go.

So delicious that after dinner with excellent service by Pamela, we had to return for lunch before flying home. Camilla made sure we had the same excellent service & also made sure our food was free of allergens. When Doug checked with us, we again gave rave reviews for the cocktails & variety of dishes at dinner & again for our brunch lunch experience. The atmosphere is attractive & we loved the local sourcing. Only wish you had a location in Westfield, NJ!
