I don’t know when Main Event started to rig their games but we go here all the time but no more. Claw machines where there is a 4in space because now the claw won’t even remotely close. You have to swipe your card multiple times before it will “register” only for it to repeatedly register after the fact. Dave and Busters is way better. TRUST ME.. GO THERE. Main Event must be losing money.

They do not have the NFL package. Call before you go if you were wanting a specific game.

Clean, decent food, fun when it isn't crowded. Some of the staff are super helpful and kind, and others are the opposite which sours the experience a bit.
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Lived the atmosphere food was a little pricey but it was good. People were friendly

I rarely/never leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared so other families are aware. If i can star this location a (-) I certainly would. We had a large party of 24 people for my daughter’s birthday yesterday 11-8-25, and this was by far one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. It was immediately clear that this location is not prepared or equipped to handle large groups despite having over a week’s notice and multiple confirmation calls from me beforehand.
From the start, things went downhill. The setup was disorganized, the party started 20 minutes late due to the slow check-in and shoe process for our group, and the overall flow of the event was unrealistic. The party itinerary left no transition time between bowling, moving to the party room, and laser tag, making it impossible to enjoy any part of the experience. Out of our full hour of bowling, we were only able to bowl for about 24 minutes total before being rushed out and we were even told to end 16 minutes early.
The staff, particularly Jordyn and Peggy, had unhelpful and disrespectful throughout. At one point, Jordyn told my family “the best thing you can do is just get out,” which was incredibly offensive and uncalled for. Peggy was equally unprofessional, cutting me off mid-conversation and passing me off to another manager, Diamond, rather than addressing my concerns directly which was highly disrespectful.
I spoke with Diamond, who was kind and tried to help, but it was clear she was limited in what she could do under the management structure. Meanwhile, multiple staff members were visibly arguing not only with each other but also with other guests in full view of children and families. My guests and I had to watch staff yelling loudly and aggressively at the public over laser tag issues, creating a chaotic and uncomfortable environment.
For a party that cost over $550, the experience was completely unacceptable. The lack of organization, professionalism, and customer service was alarming. It felt like the location prioritized overbooking and money rather than ensuring a positive, family-friendly experience.
General Management needs to seriously re-evaluate all staff trainings including management, event coordination, and customer service standards to prevent other families from having the same experience. This location needs to severely modify the party planning to accommodate larger party with transition times. I would never recommend hosting a party here, and I plan to make my experience public so other families can avoid the same disappointment.
This experience was heartbreaking and frustrating to see my daughter’s birthday celebration turn into a stressful and chaotic event.

I had a horrible experience at Main Event. The food was poor quality — the nachos had barely any meat or cheese, and everything tasted bland and cheap. Even worse, I was treated unfairly because of my bubbly autistic personality. Staff told my party they could only receive one drink at a time, and I never even got a drink after that. The situation was humiliating and discriminatory, especially in front of my family. What should have been a fun, lighthearted bowling and laser tag outing turned into an upsetting and exclusionary experience. Thankfully, one of the cashiers, Victoria, and our waitress, Ariona, were kind and tried to make up for it, but the overall experience was still terrible. I would not recommend Main Event to anyone looking for good food, fair treatment, or a welcoming environment.

DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE!!! we paid over 500 dollars for less then 2 hours. our activities were cut short and we had 45 min to eat sing happy birthday cut cake and clean up. you don't get your own party space but a small table surrounded by other parties. in our case wild boys almost knocked over and ruined a $200 cake as a result of lack of space and privacy. not all of our guests got to eat or partake in the bowling portion fully, due to unrealistic time expectations despite, not having any other events after us. food was mediocre as well. It's not worth the money or the chaos. also the prizes are junk and were all ripped or broken before walking out the door.

I came to bowl and was served by one of the best servers I’ve ever had at any place. If you come to this location ask for Tori and you’ll 100% be happy with your service.

Tl;Dr - If you go, expect quite a few games to be out of order, claws that are either stuffed so tight you'll never win or the claw doesn't move and steals your credits, games that are missing pieces or have broken parts and just an overall lackluster experience. If you're hungry I highly recommend leaving to eat literally anywhere else in the area, except for Chili's.

Today was only my second time going to this specific Main Event. The first time was two years ago for my son's birthday, it was a terrible experience. After a less than mediocre arcade run due to out of order and unkempt games and even a claw that that just steals your credits and doesn't move, we were hungry. We waited 30 minutes to be seated by a host and then another 30 for food to arrive and the burgers were all completely raw inside, not pink or rare, actual raw ground beef. We weren't charged for the meals but we refused replacements and just wanted to leave for obvious reasons so they gave us 4 time cards for our next visit. Well, after nearly two years, we felt like we should at least give the arcade another chance. I asked about the time cards because I was never explained anything about them. I was told that they're only good for the day they're issued. I explained the reason they were given and the attendant was nice enough to reactivate 2 of the 4 of them even if he did seem a little confused or reluctant about it. No one apologized for the previous visit, expressed any gratitude for giving them another chance or seemed to care at all. Felt more like he reactivated them just to expedite the interaction even though we were literally the only customers in the entire building at the time. We loaded up one paid card to earn tickets on and play the claw machines with. Several games we wanted to play were out of order. The claw machines were stuffed tight so that even with payout you couldn't grab anything. Later I observed a worker adding to one of the machines and he was literally placing them in tightly packed rows. These are payout claws, meaning they grab harder once they've been fed enough money without winning, they don't also need to be rigged in how you place the prizes. Just makes it feel like a scam for the unaware. The air hockey tables are practically garbage, they actually have a table out to play on with two big holes in it from obvious damage. The pucks don't actually sit on any air, they just slide on the table and come to a stop. Zombie Snatcher, which should have ticket values up to 500, only went up to 50. Several basketball games had peeling balls. A few of the gun games had a busted gun that ruined play. This place feels even more run down than my first time going, as if it hasn't been improved in the past 2 years. This location clearly doesn't care about the arcade or guest enjoyment. It's really strange feeling and I won't be going back again. There are too many better options. Round1, Scene 75, Dave and Busters, Cedar Point, Kako, etc. all provide a much better experience and better value for your time and money and staff that actually cares and knows what they're doing. I'll go anywhere else but this Avon Main Event going forward. Both chances were blown by this place so I'm never coming back.

Everything was great food bowling the vibe the music(wish it wasn’t all country tho but I digress) I take two stars away only because we really came to play pool they told us an hour wait so we decided to play bowling while we wait and it did look like a lot of people playing but when we was about to go I noticed part of the people playing was the employees 😒😭😭 so yea two stars thank you 🙏🏽
Babs, Cynthia, and Alexia all were so helpful. My experience was made so much better by all of their help. These women deserve a raise!
