Tl;Dr - If you go, expect quite a few games to be out of order, claws that are either stuffed so tight you'll never win or the claw doesn't move and steals your credits, games that are missing pieces or have broken parts and just an overall lackluster experience. If you're hungry I highly recommend leaving to eat literally anywhere else in the area, except for Chili's.

Today was only my second time going to this specific Main Event. The first time was two years ago for my son's birthday, it was a terrible experience. After a less than mediocre arcade run due to out of order and unkempt games and even a claw that that just steals your credits and doesn't move, we were hungry. We waited 30 minutes to be seated by a host and then another 30 for food to arrive and the burgers were all completely raw inside, not pink or rare, actual raw ground beef. We weren't charged for the meals but we refused replacements and just wanted to leave for obvious reasons so they gave us 4 time cards for our next visit. Well, after nearly two years, we felt like we should at least give the arcade another chance. I asked about the time cards because I was never explained anything about them. I was told that they're only good for the day they're issued. I explained the reason they were given and the attendant was nice enough to reactivate 2 of the 4 of them even if he did seem a little confused or reluctant about it. No one apologized for the previous visit, expressed any gratitude for giving them another chance or seemed to care at all. Felt more like he reactivated them just to expedite the interaction even though we were literally the only customers in the entire building at the time. We loaded up one paid card to earn tickets on and play the claw machines with. Several games we wanted to play were out of order. The claw machines were stuffed tight so that even with payout you couldn't grab anything. Later I observed a worker adding to one of the machines and he was literally placing them in tightly packed rows. These are payout claws, meaning they grab harder once they've been fed enough money without winning, they don't also need to be rigged in how you place the prizes. Just makes it feel like a scam for the unaware. The air hockey tables are practically garbage, they actually have a table out to play on with two big holes in it from obvious damage. The pucks don't actually sit on any air, they just slide on the table and come to a stop. Zombie Snatcher, which should have ticket values up to 500, only went up to 50. Several basketball games had peeling balls. A few of the gun games had a busted gun that ruined play. This place feels even more run down than my first time going, as if it hasn't been improved in the past 2 years. This location clearly doesn't care about the arcade or guest enjoyment. It's really strange feeling and I won't be going back again. There are too many better options. Round1, Scene 75, Dave and Busters, Cedar Point, Kako, etc. all provide a much better experience and better value for your time and money and staff that actually cares and knows what they're doing. I'll go anywhere else but this Avon Main Event going forward. Both chances were blown by this place so I'm never coming back.

Everything was great food bowling the vibe the music(wish it wasn’t all country tho but I digress) I take two stars away only because we really came to play pool they told us an hour wait so we decided to play bowling while we wait and it did look like a lot of people playing but when we was about to go I noticed part of the people playing was the employees 😒😭😭 so yea two stars thank you 🙏🏽
Babs, Cynthia, and Alexia all were so helpful. My experience was made so much better by all of their help. These women deserve a raise!

I normally don't do review but had to for this one. There was an employee at his place her name was LACIE! She deserves a raise or some incentive because she gave us the most amazing, over the top service! not once gave attitude or complained, anytime I thought there was peak amount of service reached, she took it even further. She was so KIND, Friendly, and WARM. We were there for my son birthday party and as soon as we walked noticed we were interested trying to find a place to get set up with our party. She went above and beyond to not only get us situated but also serve us by getting drinks, food, etc. She was the reason I am making this review now and why we had such a GREAT time. If anyone goes here look for LACIE!!!!!. keep in mind my son is on the spectrum and we would come here again for a party if she is our host!

Have not been yet i want to go but I dont know if you have to pay for every experience or if its just for all of it
Horrible experience with my first time at Main Event. Their receipt printers are an hour behind. This lead to me and my boyfriend getting kicked off of our billiards table after being there for only 20 minutes. The receipt showed our drinks were purchased at 8:20, but we were not even at Main Event at that time. My text alerts for my card shows that it was charged at 9:20, not 8:20 like the receipt shows. When we tried to explain this to multiple different workers, no one cared.
Didn't have any food but was fun..

Awful experience today at a Main Event birthday pancake party and the games on the arcade floor. The “hosted” party was anything but - the two assigned staff members rolled their eyes, stood around and watched the parents serve the kids food and coordinate all the activities, and elements of the breakfast weren’t brought out until after the kids had finished eating such as the syrup. They presented us with a bucket of assorted bowling shoes instead of handing out the correct sizes after 20 minutes of waiting and being kicked out of the party area, the “hosts” disappeared rather than engaging with the kids, and we started bowling so late that nobody got to finish their frames. There were no goodie bags, drinks were brought out one by one and we had to ask for each one. No refills were offered and we consistently had to hunt down a host to ask for things.
Once on the arcade floor, 80% of the games were broken or operating funky. The air hockey tables were all damaged or out of service and the only working one didn’t blow enough air to move the puck. Fruit Ninja was on an error screen, the lane masters were glitching and only giving out one ball at a time and a man was crawling up the machine to get a stuck ball (with no staff in sight to help), one basketball game had a broken ball gate so it was sending all the balls out at once but none of the points counted and the other was taking credits off the card but not dropping any balls, and various other machines would subtract credits and then fail to start game play. Quite a few games had “Out of Service” flashing on their screens. We got reimbursed for 2-3 different games that ate up credits before giving up and leaving. Even the people at the front desk seemed unsurprised that customers were lining up to complain about the games.
As I was leaving after having complained at the front desk, a staff member pulled me aside and told me that she’d had the same disappointing experience the week before when she brought her family to play. Evidently the technicians don’t want to come in to fix the games? If that’s accurate and they’re aware of the ongoing issues, Main Event should not be charging people full price for the significantly sub par experience. Perhaps they should even close the doors for a few days for a tech and facility reset and staff training.
Parties at Main Event are way too expensive for that many frustrations and hearing that it’s a known problem that hasn’t been resolved in weeks is frustrating. We’ve been to many parties at this location in past years and this was ridiculous.

I visited twice in July because it was my son’s birthday, and he really wanted to go have fun and earn points for the gift shop. Unfortunately, both visits were disappointing.
Several games weren’t working, and the ones that were “working” had serious issues—either they took points but didn’t start, glitched out mid-game, or gave errors after swiping the card. Some games didn’t give any points, and others even took extra credits for no reason. My son was frustrated and confused, and I don’t blame him.
What made things worse was the complete lack of staff on the floor. We didn’t see anyone around to help—not in the arcade area, not by the food court, and no techs were available to fix broken machines. Only the bowling and zipline areas seemed staffed, and even then, barely. The gift shop was also hit or miss—sometimes no one was even there to help.
To be honest, the staff we did see didn’t look professional or ready to work. A few looked like they just rolled out of bed—unpresentable and uninterested, which doesn’t give a good impression, especially for a place that’s supposed to be all about fun and family.
The machines felt dirty and worn out, and everything seemed neglected. After two bad visits in a row, I told my son we won’t be coming back. It’s a shame because the idea of Main Event is great, but the way this location is run needs serious improvement.

Went here on a whim with the family, on our way to the airport. The atmosphere and amount of activities was great for the kids, service was exceptional and employees were super accommodating. Lot of options for food, pizza and salad were delicious for a bowling alley/arcade. Highly recommend checking it out.

The place is over priced for nothing, . Spent 340 for 3 people just on games and did not enjoy it. The older lady at the front desk was rude and very unprofessional. Dave n buster is waaaay better.

None of the bumpers were working. They didn’t not tell me at all. They need to let people with kids know before they pay. Service is always terrible but we only come for the kids free bowling. This time a server never even came to take a drink order. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone else.
