This was a cool place we read the reviews on it before we got there. We drove about an hour to get there. When we walked in there was another couple there other than that we had the place to ourselves it was on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.My wife got the Smoked Sammy with fries and mac and cheese and she said everything was great.I ordered a three meat combo consisting of brisket( which I paid extra for) a quarter slab of ribs( which I paid an additional for) and the hot sausage links. For my sides I got the baked beans and the brussel sprouts. The food taste wise was wonderful but it was so dried out I could barely eat it. I was very disappointed with the ribs and brisket. The only saving grace was the hot link sausage was good. The baked beans were undercooked I couldn't even eat them. The cornbread was phenomenal as were the barbecue sauces that I got to try. They were very good also. I might try it again just because I love barbecue but I was disappointed if I'm being honest

My husband and I ordered 2 chicken parm dinners for take out last evening. We were very disappointed. It tasted like it was made with a pound of salt. We were ubable to finish it. I called and spoke w the manager (Jessica?) the following morning... altho she was apologetic she refused to compensate in any way d/t the fact that it was a grub hub gift card. I normally do not leave bad reviews but I am just shocked with such poor practice for this relatively new neighborhood restaurant. We will definitely not return.I should have read other reviews before ordering, sounds like extra sodium is a specialty.

This is a great little spot! Friday night, live acoustic music, fast service at the bar and dinner as well. Everything is made from scratch. Salad and app was delicious. Husband enjoyed the brisket stroganoff. We will be back for sure!
Horrible, dry, cold. Do not order to go!! Everything was cold. My husband checked in the car and it was cold when he picked it up. I would not have taken it!! We did try to microwave a few seconds to take the chill off. Didn’t help taste at alll. Ribs were so dry I couldn’t tell if I was eating meat or bone. Potatoe skins were jo-jo with cheese on the side. The only thing palatable was my Son’s chicken quesadilla. Never again 65+ dollars. We miss bubba’s.

The second time there since they opened both experiences were not great. The staff was good. My son ordered the 2 meat dinner and got pork and one tiny piece of sausage for his second meat. 15 dollar dinner and had to come home and eat dinner afterwards. Won't be back to this Moosehead.

Great band very good selectionof different tunes. Will definitelygo back just to see and hear them ... 1/2 rack of ribs were good. ..baked potato could have been done a bit more and baked beans were less than desired... other than that, decent night out !!

My wife and I were at Cabela's and I googled places to eat and seen moosehead bbq and it was only a few minutes away. This place did not disappoint! I got the bruben with bacon ?...very awesome burger with smoked corned beef! Their pountine fries were the best I have ever had.We live almost 2 hours from Avon but we do travel to different places looking for good food. So whenever I'm in or around Avon I will definitely be back because the food and the blueberry lemonade won me over ?

A great idea for take out if you have had too much Chinese food lately. ??A number of different options as far as sauces are concerned Something for anyone from those who like it smoky & sweet, tangy and flavorful or hot and in your face.Loads of delicious side dishes. Baked potatoes, rice pilaf, cole slaw, salad, etc.
