Said it would be 40 minutes and took over an hour and 15 that new automated system sucks
Placed an order for delivery on 10/31. As I knew they would be busy, I made sure to place the order early afternoon. I received an order confirmation stating that I would have my order at 5.
Well, 5 rolls around, then 6, then 7...finally our order arrives. No communication, apology, anything. Upon telling the driver why we refused the order, he simply said "yeah, we are a few hours behind."
Meanwhile I am trying to call the store, keep being rolled over to the hold music. I literally called 10 times to no avail. I finally called Pizza Hut as my guests and kids were starving and they delivered within 30 minutes.
After all this, I check my bank account and Papa Johns charged me for food I refused, since it was over 2 hours late. AND, they charged me MORE than what the original bill was. So now I have to file a fraud dispute.

I placed an online order at 3 o’clock 10/31/24 to have my pizza delivered by 5 o’clock. My delivery never came and I’ve tried to contact the store in Avon Ohio multiple times and no one is picking up.

Usually behind. Halloween was a joke. Ordered at 9 am for a 5:00 pickup. Wasn’t even started at 5:30. Plan your work and stop accepting orders if you can’t keep up.

Was going to order from here, but these reviews are atrocious. I grew up loving papa John's, shame to see Management is running it into the ground

I will never order Papa John’s again. I placed my order online for 4 pizzas…3 pizzas showed up with a receipt for an amount that didn’t match my email confirmation, and no line items, just a dollar amoun. When I called to inquire about the mistake, the manger proceeded to argue with me about it, then told me I had to call corporate to sort it out! Well that’s another joke, good luck trying to get a response from them. They take you in a wild goose hunt to find a way to contact them, and if you can finally find the magic code to speak to someone…they hang up on you intentionally once you start speaking. I was able to get to an online form that ‘promised’ a response from the regional ownership within 48 hours….that was about 2 weeks ago and I still have no resolution. Crooks.
Not sure why it’s so low quality for the price papa John’s charged.

The skimpiest toppings out of any Papa Johns I've ever been to. Pizza sauce was watery. Very disappointing. On a positive note, great service.

We places an order on 2/29/24 at this Avon location. It was for a large one topping pizza 1/2 mushrooms and 1/2 spicy Italian sausage that was so skimpy on the topping that we won't come back.

Placed an online order at 6:22pm paid in full online with a 20% tip in advance and order was confirmed with a delivery time of 7:13-7:23pm. A received a text message notification at 6:57pm notifying me that my order was on its way. At 7:27pm my order had still not yet arrived. I called the store and spoke with the night manager who was extremely rude and said the order was out for delivery but the driver took two orders on that trip and mine was second for delivery even though we only live 7 minutes from the store. My order had at this point been riding around in the delivery driver’s car for 30 minutes and the night manager said well there is nothing I can do for you, I can’t make traffic go any faster and it will be there when it gets there and was being extremely dismissive, rude and you could tell he was having a rough night and didn’t care at all about his job or providing any level of customer service. When I asked why he was being so rude to me when I’m the customer and just calling to check on why my order has been delivered in the delivery timeframe and why it has been riding around in a car for 30 minutes he said I’m hanging up now and just hung up. I tried calling back several times and he repeatedly hung up on my each time without even speaking to me just seeing the number on their caller id. The order finally arrived at 7:41pm and I had to go outside as the delivery driver tried to deliver it to the neighbors house. When I brought it in it was already cold and the boxes were soaking wet all the way through the cardboard from the foil wrapped peppers. Photos attached. I would not recommend ordering from this store location, especially for delivery. The night manager needs a lesson in customer service and they are clearly under staffed and just taking every order even when they can’t make and deliver them with any level of quality, service, and timeliness.

Normally the food is great. Ordered a gluten-free pizza through the app. Got there to pick it up only to find they were out of gluten-free. Wish the app wouldn't take orders for something they dont have.
