Love this restaurant. Friendly staff, great food and wonderful ambiance! The Patio in the summer is so nice and we love when they have entertainment!

Went on a Monday thinking it would be a good quiet spot to meet my friend. The bar was packed at 4:30 when I arrived (yay for Veranda - but ..) It was super loud and made our service even more slower since the bar tender had people 3 deep all around the bar. We weren't in a rush, it was just not the experience we were looking for since it was a Monday... That's all it just made both of us on edge and had to yell at each other to speak.

We love this restaurant!!! Summertime patio is always a hit often with live music. In the winter plan on a cozy atmosphere and during the holiday season no one is better decorated. Add great food and service!!

Went for a sister's Christmas dinner. The food was excellent! Our server, Joey was very friendly. We did not feel rushed at all. We went early(4:00). It was not crowded at that time. They have live music later in the evening. We will go later next time to enjoy more of that. I highly recommend!

Veranda never fails to impress. Spectacular service and ambiance complete the dining (& cocktail) experience.

Probably the most disappointing meal I’ve had in a while. The fries were soft, the burger lacked flavor, and the crab cake BLT was unfortunately very mushy and my glass of wine was from a skunked reject bottle. We were really hoping for a solid, enjoyable meal but ended up leaving with mostly full plates and a lot of disappointment.

The food was only ok as was the service. For the prices charged, I would have expected more seasoning on the steak, warm bread (not cold and stale), fresh cracked pepper for my salad (when I asked for fresh pepper I expected a peppermill but was brought red pepper flakes), and linens on the table. I would go back for happy hour — maybe. (The last time I went there for happy hour I got the surf and turf, my one piece of shrimp was not cooked through and the waitress did not offer to replace it).

We had 6 people for dinner, the server Joey was very good but all our dinners were cold cold cold the server suggested half off, we just wanted to have a good dinner together before the holiday, this had been our go to place the day before Thanksgiving for the last 4 years, the manager was extremely rude!!! I really don’t think we will do this next year for a celebration. Since my husband and I are Avon residents I’m not so sure we will continue to patronize your establishment, so sorry to say that since we have enjoyed over the years, maybe your management system needs some TLC, maybe not talk to customers like he is a truck driver, and we mean nothing. Sincerely

I requested main level with no steps and were seated upper level, with steps and furthest table in back. Our drink orders were incorrect. No olives for the martini folks. Food was good but salmon piece was pretty small. We were compensated for incorrect drinks.

I Had the frenched birkshire pork chop with pears and bourbon sauce, it was the best pork chop I've ever eaten. It came with mashed sweet potatoes. I also had a mocktale, it was apple cider like with a cinnamon stick in it. It was very good. I definitely recommend going there. Nice atmosphere. They were very busy.

I was looking forward to my first visit. Not only was service slow, but 2 of 4 of us had plates that were on the cold side...probably because it sat and took a long time to get to us. They were not that busy. We were in the dining area and not bar area. The red Zinfandel was outstanding. It is the only Zinfandel on wine list. Beer selection was modest. They only have 1 non-alcoholic beer...and it was not an IPA. I refuse to go to a restaurant that has no NA beers.

Service was poor from the beginning. We weren't sure what the ambience was supposed to be. Greeted by someone wearing a baseball hat and gym shorts. The lights are dim with dimmable lamps at each table, so you believe it's more mid to upscale. The musician sounded good but the speakers made it hard to have conversation were we were sat. We had to ask about specials. When asking the server between too choices they just says their both goo and froze. Couldn't even offer a suggestion between two different style foods. We felt like such an inconvenience. We ordered our food, it came and we had no silverware until we had to track down a bus boy to get us some. There was no seasoning on the whipped sweet potato's or the French fries. No salt or pepper on the table. Server didn't come around. Pork chop was undercooked. Yes pink can be fine absolutely but it was to undercooked in the middle. When the owner or manager not sure whom came by when my card on table to ask to box up food, they asked how was everything. I said fine, the pork was undercooked and no seasoning. She said good and walked away. She didn't even listen to our response, don't ask for feedback if you're not willing to listen. Just overall a poor experience and won't be back.
