ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Our server was a young man by the name of Lucas I believe! He was FANTASTIC! May be the best cocktail, dinner, atmosphere, and service I have EVER had!!! Kudos!!!

Veranda is a quaint restaurant bar with plenty of outdoor seating in the summer. I would highly recommend their Happy Hour Surf and Turf. . It is a small filet and shrimp with asparagus and potatoes. The happy hour portion is perfect for me. If you are a big eater you can order two of them. At $14 apiece it is still a great value! The atmosphere is older adults and the inside is cozy. Outside, festive lights create a relaxed and carefree summer feeling. In the summer they have live bands outside and dancing. On occasion there may be an acoustic type singer inside creating a pleasant dining experience. There is plenty of free parking!I gave service lower rating only because the bartender is not very friendly. I have been there several times for happy hour and she rarely smiles and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. One time, when she waited on me she said “ You only have minutes to put your Happy Hour order in”. Maybe she is having a difficult time, but you think the phrase “ Happy Hour” might dictate being Happy!

At first a nice romantic setting, but fell short from there. Waiter didn't know if bread came with the meal he was kinda rude about it . Kool and the gang was not appropriate dinner music for a valentine's day suppose to be romantic dinner . Food was so so beans were hard steak lacked flavor , the calamari for the appetizer was good and the hostess and waitress did a nice job .

My husband and I stopped in here for Happy Hour. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of glasses of wine. Very cool atmosphere. A little while later, we placed an order for food. The "Maryland crab cakes" were the worst I've ever had and this is a go to on the menu for this girl. The crab meat was shredded, no veggies to found and if there was Old Bay, I couldn't taste it. The truffle fries were good in spite of having no truffle oil on them. I will never order the "crab cakes" again, but since the bartender was super sweet and the happy hour glasses of wine were excellent, we'll give it another try.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Different things on the menu and always cooked perfect. Only negative is service for most of my visits is not always quite up to par. They forget to bring bread, entrees don't always come out hot, water filled, etc. Little mistakes that are easily fixable. I wouldn't call it terrible service but there is room for improvement.
Had dinner there with friends. Atmosphere and live music were amazing! Food was fantastic! Our server, Gianna was fantastic. Made wonderful suggestions on drink and food choices. One of my friends had a small health issue that night. Gianna, the manager and the rest of the staff couldn't have been kinder or more caring. Would highly recommend this restaurant for every possible reason!!! Can't wait to go there again!

We have always enjoyed excellent food and service at Verenda. The upstairs dining is our favorite with well spaced tables and less noise making for easy conversation and a lovely atmosphere. In the summer the patio is great as well.

We took my mother in law there for her birthday.. We had never been there before. The atmosphere was so festive for Christmas. The service was great. We started with a delicious salad with a honey balsamic dressing. Sooo good. We each had a different meal and all of us enjoyed it. The drinks were a little heavy handed on the Booz but another person might like that. They gave my mother in law a complimentary cake. She loved it. We'll be back!!
