My husband placed an order at the store one minute before closing, not knowing that it was closing in one minute. Usually stores close out there ability to order 30 minutes before closing so that this doesn't happen. When I got there I stood outside for 5 minutes waiting for someone to open the door when they already knew who I was because I doordash on the side and was go here frequently and was there three times that night. The guy who is usually there told someone else to open up the door for me because he knew me. They explain to me that they couldn't fulfill the order which I understood because my husband's a general manager and they had already closed everything up for the night. The guy who did open the door stated that he was the assistant general manager, which turned out to be a complete lie. He also stated that the store manager the gm, would be able to fix this herself and that he would discuss it with her the next afternoon, Saturday afternoon. Well it's now Sunday and my husband called and was told to call back in 45 minutes because the GM went out to borrow things. First of all if you've got to complaint, you need to take down the phone number the information and that GM needs to call us back not the other way around. I called in to complain, spoke to a manager, who put me on hold, and gave me to a crew member because he didn't want to deal with it. Now I do sound very Stern on the phone but I was not yelling at all and I'm pretty sure you would sound stern if someone stole your money and did nothing to attempt to fix the error on their part. She told my husband that she would have to escalate it to the area manager which my husband and 15 years of being a general manager, has never heard of this. Typically even regular managers are allowed to give refunds. Some stores are a bit more strict but again he's never heard of this while working at multiple different restaurants for over 15 years. Now, at this point I was quite irritated, so I took the phone and I began to speak to her and explain this is unacceptable in which she told me during this conversation that she doesn't even have an assistant general manager and she didn't even seem to think that that was an issue until I forced it to become an issue stating well that person shouldn't be working there if they're lying and claiming that they're a general manager when they are not. She casually said well yeah I guess that's a coaching moment. Appearing to not care at all about this issue. I pressed harder saying this is my money and you need to refund it now. She told me well it's going to be 7 to 10 business days. I told her if this error had been fixed right away, it likely hadn't been processed yet and I would have gotten it back within 12 hours. I told her all of this was unacceptable and I was very upset with the fact that that person had lied and claimed to be the AGM and claim that she would give me a refund when she has not. I told her that all of this was a reflection of her leadership skills or lack thereof. She hung up on me like a child. I am not sorry. You chose to be in the position you are, you chose to have to deal with customer service issues, and nothing I said or no way I spoke to you was inappropriate in any way whatsoever. The way I'm speaking in this terrible review, is the way I spoke to you over the phone. I will not apologize for demanding my money back when you and your staff have not done their jobs.

UPDATE: I received an automated response from the owner with a link to reach out directly to “make things right” & “address my concerns”. Went to link, filled out form, been over two weeks and I’ve heard nothing back.
Wing Stop is one of my FAVORITE wing spots. I work near the Avon location and decided to order via door dash for pickup and unfortunately I cannot say anything good about my meal. I order from the Lorain location normally and have ordered from the Elyria location as well; never any issues. At the Avon location the quality of my food was absolutely HORRIBLE. My wings were bare and barely sauced at all. My fries were NOT the normal fresh cut wing stop fries. I will not order from this location again. I am very disappointed in my food.

I was very impressed with my meal. We came in during lunch and it was very busy. Hailey was the only worker at the time and she was running making sure to take our orders and get our food done as fast as possible. She’s great at her job.

I just want to start off by saying that the manger here is amazing and very nice. But the other night I ordered my food and sat down to wait for it. While I was waiting for my food, an employee (black hair, younger) she was just standing there staring at me not saying anything and holding a bag so I said is my order ready I’m confused I did not hear my name and she replied with “well I literally said it” walking away mumbling things under her breath. (She never said my name).As I was walking out of the building, she proceeds to be childish and tell every single person but me to have a great day. So embarrassing and gross. Grow up. I get people have bad days at work but I’ve seen this girl there multiple times and had always had an attitude. I wish I had checked my bag before I left, but when I got home I only had 4 tenders and three of them were the size of a chicken nugget when I ordered a 5 piece. The one sided problem is kinda insane for a girl just trying to get some wingstop.

If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. This was my first and last time ordering food from this location. The floors were wet and sticky. The counter was dirty and the employees were not wearing gloves while handling food. I hope a health inspector visits this place soon. After seeing how disgusting this place was, i decided to cancel my order. To anyone reading this review, please DO NOT order from this location! I recommend the wingstop in Elyria. This Avon location is not sanitary and very unprofessional.

YOU RISK YOUR LIFE EATING THIS EXPIRED RAW GARBAGE THEY SERVED ME RAW FOOD putrid smells coming from the kitchen. they don’t wear gloves when handling ready to eat product. the floors look like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks very sticky. the employees are honestly the worst. the gm is not nice and very unprofessional. grabbing on the other employees and even when they say stop he keeps going. honestly looked drunk to me but that’s neither here or there. the lady who looks mixed can’t tell because of how pale she is was also very rude. had an attitude when i was trying to order than sighed when i didn’t stop at one chicken sandwich. the real short boy also had an attitude and was very mean. the music is loud and has cuss words all over the place. food is terrible always soggy or not enough seasonings. one of the worst fast food places i’ve been to in a while. overall terrible experience
