Where History, Hospitality, and Heart Come Together — A Must-Visit!
Baltic Mill Winery is more than just a destination — it’s an experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the incredible preservation of the historic mill. The original equipment on the second and third floors, along with the awe-inspiring steam engine in the basement that once powered it all, made the space feel like a living museum — rich with character and charm.
But what truly made our visit unforgettable was Victoria. She’s not just a hostess — she’s the heartbeat of the place. Juggling the roles of bartender, server, and guide, she brought the space to life with her energy, kindness, and effortless hospitality. Whether sharing stories about the mill’s past or making sure every guest felt at home, Victoria made the experience feel personal and memorable.
And yes — we couldn’t leave without taking a few bottles home. The wine was outstanding, easily surpassing many other wineries we’ve visited. But it’s the combination of setting, service, and soul that will bring us back.
Highly recommend a visit — and if you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Victoria, you’re in for something special.
Stopped in on a Tuesday evening after a snowstorm. Not busy but the wine was to our liking (dry red, Blend 111). Beautiful historic place.
The wine is one of the best in the area especially the Rosso de Baltica, Dan and Judy are wonderful. Victoria and Marilyn are the best at pairing wine with people, they really know the wine.
We had a wonderful Veterans Day visit to the Mill. It was a chilly day and we know they have warm cozy seating areas. Victoria was hosting and she helped us get a dry wine flight and cheese tray. During conversation I mentioned that we were veterans and a little of our history. A couple seated nearby bought us a bottle of wine and Victoria gave us 2 Baltic Mill Winery glasses. What a thoughtful gift to make it a memorable visit. Thank you Dale and Candi.
The combination of the spacious, genuine old mill setting and 1st class wines, courteous and knowledgeable staff are hard to beat. Talented live music this afternoon!! Wow!!
Great charcuterie board and lots of different wines. Solo Six String is doing a fantastic job at musical entertainment.
Cool winery in an old mill. Great wines and a cozy place to sample a flight or two. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good prices too. Most bottles in the $20 - $25 range. We took home a Riesling and a Blackberry my wife adored. Before you leave, climb the stairs and explore the old machinery of the mill. A lot of history in this place.
A variety of wines in a neat old mill. Staff knows their products and are very friendly. Worth a stop!
We visited on a Monday and it wasn’t busy at all. We were able to relax, and enjoy our wine. Victoria was so helpful with our wine selection. She was knowledge about the history of the mill. We had a great time hanging out with her. You can go upstairs to see some of the machinery that was used at the mill.
Awesome place

The winery is located in a historic flour mill. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and there was not much of a crowd. A really relaxing atmosphere for a glass of wine. They have a good selection of wines and the people working the counter were very friendly. You can also go upstairs and look at some of the original mill, including the milling equipment.
Lesson learned . I hadn't been here in quite some time, but I've been reading reviews and thought I would try this wine again. I was looking for a Chardoney style wine. What I tasted was very different than what I brought home. I had the same experience a few years back with an Italian Red wine. I'm also a wine maker at home . What I tasted was a chardoney. What I brought home for $20.00 a bottle is EXACTLY what I make at home, with a little less sediment that I get in mine. If people like cheaply made wine, or just drink wine to get drunk then enjoy your $20.00 bottle of wine. It's a shame, because I always give a business the benefit of a doubt. This is not a wine drinkers winery
Great service, cool building, best wine. Highly recommend the Rowville Red.
Loved the history of the building! Great wine and great staff. Victoria was really friendly and knowledgeable about the building. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful place. Wine is delicious. I would highly recommend.
