The food has been consistently great for 40+ years, as long as I've been going there. Belgrade's was always my family's choice when it came to Barberton chicken, and the restaurant still lives up to its reputation.
This place is an institution. The food is absolutely delicious, and nostalgic for anyone who grew up in Barberton. Hot sauce is a must when you go- dip your fries in it. I will always be in the mood for Belgrade Gardens.
The chicken is prepared as Serbian style fried chicken (cooked in lard). The meat is very juicy. The coating is crisp and comes off in big pieces.
The hot rice is excellent 👌 (Thick, not soupy. The rice is dense, not mushy with just the right amount of "kick").
