“The wife and I made a day trip to Akron to pick up something and thought we’d stop in for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Seated promptly and the waitress reviewed the specials and let us look at the menu for a minute. The owner came out and talked about some of the specials and brought us a sample treat. We ordered a couple of the eggs Benedict daily specials (one was the classic and the other was corned beef). We upgraded the hash browns to Mystic potatoes (cheesy hash browns). Everything was delicious! The cheesy hash browns were phenomenal and the Benedicts were both very good. My wife also got some pancakes which were cooked perfectly! There was enough food to bring some home for tomorrow! Highly recommend!”

MAGIC CITY SUBS AND GYROS in fact dirty deleted their RUDE AND DISGUSTING comments to me on Fb before ,blocking me NO ! I ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T GET A REFUND this was my 1st experience at this establishment I don't get to experience things as I wish I could do YES this was my 1st time ever ordering food from Magic City Subs and gyros The HUGE chunks of pink meat was DISGUSTING to look at the texture was horrid The fries aren't freshly cut ! But to top off the crappy food ! Let's take a moment to put the spot light on the OWNER! Blaming THE CUSTOMER For their failing business.. So because he's a Small business owner ! I'm somehow supposed to just HAND HIM MY MONEY on un edible food ? I would never again !!! Order or recommend this PLACE in fact with the poor quilty of food and service I'm thinking an official complaint should be sent to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT! Do not gaslight magic City Subs and gyros Your poor quality isn't a ME problem, Know better ?. Do better !”

“We live in NC and when we visit Akron, the first place we head to is Belgrades. For many many years now, the men’s bathroom has needed to be renovated. It is somewhat unsafe, with the toilet being so low. A handrail was added but the bathroom could be improved. We just make sure we don’t have to go. Food is wonderful and so is the service.”

“Parking was hard to find in the small lot but we made it work. Seat yourself. This place isn’t fancy. Come as you are. The burgers are a decent size and well seasoned and tasty. The French fries and potato skins were also very good. A burger is 7.50. Cheeseburgers are 8.50 and the platters are a few dollars more to get 2 sides. For the decent quality and good size, it’s a very good value. Fed all 4 of us on less than $50.00.”

Depending on who you get to serve you depends on the service, not all of them are nice. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting but there's no indoor seating service any longer.(i.e. takeout only)”

“Please use your manners when speaking to the people that work there. I think the guy that gave my family our food was worn out/in a bad mood because the customer before us didn't use any manners and wasn't answering questions properly. I tried to say something nice, but the kid had an earbud in & just turned around and quickly walked away. Not sure if he heard me, but he clearly needed more positive interactions.
The food was ready at a good time & I enjoyed the interior design of the place. They also had some random items like bracelets and whatnot for sale. There were paper menus set out as well to take home.
