“The wife and I made a day trip to Akron to pick up something and thought we’d stop in for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Seated promptly and the waitress reviewed the specials and let us look at the menu for a minute. The owner came out and talked about some of the specials and brought us a sample treat. We ordered a couple of the eggs Benedict daily specials (one was the classic and the other was corned beef). We upgraded the hash browns to Mystic potatoes (cheesy hash browns). Everything was delicious! The cheesy hash browns were phenomenal and the Benedicts were both very good. My wife also got some pancakes which were cooked perfectly! There was enough food to bring some home for tomorrow! Highly recommend!”

“this is the NASTY gyro I have EVER gotten .the meat has HUGE chunks the tomatoes , paper thin and the Shoe string fries HAD MORE OIL THEN POTATOES I will never again order a thing for. this place . it's Horrible!!!!!!!!! edit : the " manger". is extremely disrespectful! claims this is EDIBLE ( which it is not ! ) he claims he will refund money we shall see ! MAGIC CITY SUBS AND GYROS in fact dirty deleted their RUDE AND DISGUSTING comments to me on Fb before ,blocking me NO ! I ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T GET A REFUND this was my 1st experience at this establishment I don't get to experience things as I wish I could do YES this was my 1st time ever ordering food from Magic City Subs and gyros The HUGE chunks of pink meat was DISGUSTING to look at the texture was horrid The fries aren't freshly cut ! But to top off the crappy food ! Let's take a moment to put the spot light on the OWNER! Blaming THE CUSTOMER For their failing business.. So because he's a Small business owner ! I'm somehow supposed to just HAND HIM MY MONEY on un edible food ? I would never again !!! Order or recommend this PLACE in fact with the poor quilty of food and service I'm thinking an official complaint should be sent to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT! “The famous Belgrade Gardens. My family used to frequent this restaurant at least monthly years ago. Most of our family has since moved away or no longer with us. First time back in the area for many years and had to stop in for a dinner. The food is still wonderful! The Barberton Chicken is still great, legendary “hot sauce” rice and cole slaw. Home cooked, delicious and very reasonable. If you have not been it is really worth a stop. Yes it is an old school place but it’s a gem!”

“I stopped in on Saturday, looking for some soup… sadly, no soup, buuuuttttt, an excellent steak special. $13.99 for a pretty hefty piece of meat, choice of potato, and salad. It was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly to order and I had plenty to take home for lunch on Sunday!!! Highly recommend checking this place out!!!”

“Parking was hard to find in the small lot but we made it work. Seat yourself. This place isn’t fancy. Come as you are. The burgers are a decent size and well seasoned and tasty. The French fries and potato skins were also very good. A burger is 7.50. Cheeseburgers are 8.50 and the platters are a few dollars more to get 2 sides. For the decent quality and good size, it’s a very good value. Fed all 4 of us on less than $50.00.”

“First off, their small pizzas are only $10.And the food is subpar but it's good to go. The burgers and banging but the bread falls apart easy so it gets messy. Depending on who you get to serve you depends on the service, not all of them are nice. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting but there's no indoor seating service any longer.(i.e. takeout only)”
