“My friend dragged me downtown to try some upscale, hip & trendy joint that just opened up for breakfast. Unfortunately, that establishment doesn't open up until 11 a.m. to serve "breakfast". Turns out, that was a blessing in disguise, because Cissy's Diner is the kind of joint that serves breakfast at breakfast time. If you're like me, and you know the difference between breakfast and brunch, eat at Cissy's. They'll be glad to have you. Our server was very friendly and made good conversation. The food is classic breakfast fare, and the prices are the fairest you'll find.“

“I have wanted to stop and eat here for at least 25 years and never did until today. It looks exactly how I imagined it looked 35 years ago, which is perfect. Classic diner with great wait staff and quick wait times. Came for lunch on a Friday and got right in around noon. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. My friends fish sandwich was good too. Will be back again!“
“Owner very rude. Asked if he could move us to another table, however he did not have a table available. He had a group come in and wanted to seat them where we were. Our one member had just got there and had to leave without eating. Will go to Honeymoon with our group from now on.“
“Went there for a corned beef meal. It was excellent! The cabbage was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were tender and not overcooked, but the corned beef... that was divine!!!! Moist, tender, and absolutely perfect. The meal was more than enough, so I got to have it again the next day. As far as atmosphere, it felt like family.Kid-friendliness: My friend has a 1 yr old.
