“First off, their small pizzas are only $10.And the food is subpar but it's good to go. The burgers and banging but the bread falls apart easy so it gets messy. Depending on who you get to serve you depends on the service, not all of them are nice. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting but there's no indoor seating service any longer.(i.e. takeout only)“

We watched other customers getting bread and drinks. By 3:21 PM with no further contact we walked out. We hope if/when we return things will be better. We were very disappointed in this experience.“

“We used Dontino’s to cater our daughter’s Air Force commissioning and college graduation party this weekend, and wow. House full of tough critics, all 100% Italian, people were raving about the food all night long.

The wedding soup was outstanding. The chicken parmesan is always on point. And the cannolis? I honestly have never seen 50 cannolis disappear so fast in my life.

Our menu included pasta, meatballs, Chicken parm, wedding soup, a beautiful salad with a generous amount of bottled dressing, grated cheese, bread, butter, and cannolis, all with an assortment of serving utensils.

I cannot neglect to mention that gluten-free options are available, which is not always the case. GF penne pasta and grilled chicken were available to accommodate our guests with food restrictions.

The team at Dontino’s packaged everything perfectly, helped load up our car, and the entire experience was first class from beginning to end. You can tell they really care about what they do.

“We had the Shrimp alla Vodka and the Honey Balsamic ”First Class” Airline Chicken. Both were spectacular. The shrimp dish had a nice kick to it and the chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and moist breast meat. The proprietor stopped by our table and was quite congenial. “My wife and I were traveling and stayed at the Marriot of Akron just 100 yards from Luigi’s. We had seen the reviews and pictures and decided to try it. Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve eaten in a restaurant in years. We had 3 entrees(because we wanted to try more), 2 salads, an appetizer and two beers all for under $65 before the tip. We loved the meat balls, pizza, and baked spaghetti“

“The 2 ladies standing at the counter when I first walked in at 6:45 3/15/26 didn’t greet me in any way.. I stood there roughly 2 minutes and they looked at me continued to talk to each other and ignored my presence. So I walked to the bar.. where Brian was very professional, his service was excellent and provided a five star service experience . I give 1 stars to the young ladies at the front. “Last night my husband and I decided to try Luciano’s. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we wanted to try some complementary champagne. We declined because we are not drinkers but that was a great way to introduce your restaurant.
Once seated our waiter greeted us and we ordered drinks. He came back and told us about the specials. He was very detailed with his descriptions of the food. We already knew what we wanted but it was nice to know the options.
I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the table side cheese wheel.
He had a cheese wheel experience while we were in Florida on a vacation and wanted to try it again.
My Alfredo was delicious, lots of sauce and was hot! The waiter brought out the cheese wheel with my husbands cooked linguine pasta to the table. He started melting the cheese in the wheel, then put the pasta in and tossed it in the cheese! Just to clarify, the pasta is cooking on a separate pan then added to the cheese wheel to be covered in cheese. The meal was hot and delicious. The wheel does not cook the pasta!

We then ordered desserts. I ordered the cannoli dip, my husband the affogato. Both were very good.
We definitely will go back and definitely will recommend!“

“We learned this evening that Parasson’s has pulled from their menu the Italian Wedding Soup and Chicken Alfredo. The owner stated his father didn’t have Alfredo on the menu and he isn’t either. As far as the wedding soup, the explanation given was simply, the kitchen runs out of soup at the most inconvenient times. However, our waitress said if enough request to bring the soup back, it will be brought back. BRING BACK THE WEDDING SOUP!!“

“I went into going here with a bit of bias and an family discount due to my cousin however the pizza was amazingly tasty, the service was great I was able to make a custom pizza and basically made a delicious chicken pesto pizza with the chef even coming out and asking me if he got it right. ONE THING I will say is it is pricey and I did get a discount as I said but price is worth it for the food. Overall whenever I visit I will be coming back here and dining in maybe take out as well!“
