Luigi's Restaurant Reviews
My wife and I were traveling and stayed at the Marriot of Akron just 100 yards from Luigi’s. We had seen the reviews and pictures and decided to try it. Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve eaten in a restaurant in years. We had 3 entrees(because we wanted to try more), 2 salads, an appetizer and two beers all for under $65 before the tip. We loved the meat balls, pizza, and baked spaghetti

Luigi's Restaurant offers improved pizza and generous salads, with a warning about the cheese topping. Vegetarian options are available, but it is uncertain about vegan choices. Parking is limited, so it is advised to avoid taking spots from neighboring businesses. The food is amazing, especially the award-winning pizza, which has a perfect crust that is crispy on the outside and soft inside, with rich, slightly sweet sauce and generous, fresh toppings. The cheese is gooey and satisfying, making it true comfort food. The restaurant serves food quickly, and the friendly staff creates a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere. Diners feel like part of the family while enjoying excellent food, including delicious baked lasagna, small spaghetti with meat sauce, and baked ravioli Florentine. The welcoming staff, including a notable server named Becky, makes for a great experience. Guests have noted the lively atmosphere, which can get a little loud, especially with the juke box playing. It is important to remember that the restaurant is cash only, but this does not detract from the enjoyable dining experience.
