“We usually can't say enough good things about D'Agnese's. Today, 11/22/2025, we arrived at 2:50 PM. We were seated quickly and ordered 2 drinks and a appetizer at 2:55 PM. We watched other customers getting bread and drinks. By 3:21 PM with no further contact we walked out. We hope if/when we return things will be better. We were very disappointed in this experience.“

“We used Dontino’s to cater our daughter’s Air Force commissioning and college graduation party this weekend, and wow. House full of tough critics, all 100% Italian, people were raving about the food all night long.

The wedding soup was outstanding. The chicken parmesan is always on point. And the cannolis? I honestly have never seen 50 cannolis disappear so fast in my life.

Our menu included pasta, meatballs, Chicken parm, wedding soup, a beautiful salad with a generous amount of bottled dressing, grated cheese, bread, butter, and cannolis, all with an assortment of serving utensils.

I cannot neglect to mention that gluten-free options are available, which is not always the case. GF penne pasta and grilled chicken were available to accommodate our guests with food restrictions.

The team at Dontino’s packaged everything perfectly, helped load up our car, and the entire experience was first class from beginning to end. You can tell they really care about what they do.

“First time eating here! Nice place… we sat at bar… got the special flat iron steaks and potatoes! Bar tenders were great! Potatoes were over seasoned and the bartender got us another side! Great steaks… service and not expensive! Will be back! Eat here if you have a chance!“

Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve eaten in a restaurant in years. We had 3 entrees(because we wanted to try more), 2 salads, an appetizer and two beers all for under $65 before the tip. “We tried Vaccaros for the first time on a Saturday night. We thought the food was really good, especially the fresh pappardelle pasta. I would have loved some bread on the table but we all left full. Wasn't a huge fan of the table for 4 directly behind the greeting station but it was pretty quiet and it was a very nice environment. Our server was very, very nice and we will definitely return! Great experience overall.“

“I've been back in Akron for over a year and finally found some Italian food with seasoning. I just finished a lovely Calzone that was excellent. I could see all the extra items that I added and the food was fresh. When I ask for extras, I want to see and taste them. Thank you to San Marino for making that happen. It was delicious.“

“I think this is the best pizza in the Fairlawn/Copley area, especially if you like NY style. Only minor gripe is I wish they had online ordering, but calling in a takeout order is also pretty easy. Brighten Brewing next door is also a great place to stop in if you've never been.“

“Last night my husband and I decided to try Luciano’s. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we wanted to try some complementary champagne. We declined because we are not drinkers but that was a great way to introduce your restaurant.
Once seated our waiter greeted us and we ordered drinks. He came back and told us about the specials. He was very detailed with his descriptions of the food. We already knew what we wanted but it was nice to know the options.
I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the table side cheese wheel.
He had a cheese wheel experience while we were in Florida on a vacation and wanted to try it again.
My Alfredo was delicious, lots of sauce and was hot! The waiter brought out the cheese wheel with my husbands cooked linguine pasta to the table. He started melting the cheese in the wheel, then put the pasta in and tossed it in the cheese! Just to clarify, the pasta is cooking on a separate pan then added to the cheese wheel to be covered in cheese. The meal was hot and delicious. The wheel does not cook the pasta!

We then ordered desserts. I ordered the cannoli dip, my husband the affogato. Both were very good.
We definitely will go back and definitely will recommend!“

“I always get the lasagna. It's better than some more expensive Italian restaurants. Unfortunately for the 1st time the noodles were a bit hard at the restaurant in Fairlawn.
The waitress was great and the mgr offered to make another one for me but I already had 2 bowls of soup and was almost already done.“

“We learned this evening that Parasson’s has pulled from their menu the Italian Wedding Soup and Chicken Alfredo. The owner stated his father didn’t have Alfredo on the menu and he isn’t either. As far as the wedding soup, the explanation given was simply, the kitchen runs out of soup at the most inconvenient times. However, our waitress said if enough request to bring the soup back, it will be brought back. BRING BACK THE WEDDING SOUP!!“

Absolutely loved this place. The aesthetic is stunning with gorgeous lighting and trailing vines, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast burrito was sooo good, and the omelet breakfast was fresh, hearty, and delicious. Excellent coffee and a great space to sit back and enjoy the morning. Very welcoming staff. “I was there today for a luncheon with my widows group. I ordered the 4 pc mixed chicken with jojo’s and salad bar. Everything was good and our server, Christine, was awesome. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce to go for my home bound husband. I was disappointed that it did not come with bread nor salad. I didn’t have much time to check the prices but was a little shocked when my total bill was $31.70. Since you do not offer an item receipt, I have no way of checking the individual pricing. I will definitely check the menu more closely next time.“
