Terrible service. "Slow" service is an understatement. Our waitress never told us her name, and had an attitude the minute she greeted us. She got my water for me fairly quickly but my husband never got his beer. We waited over 25 minutes for her to come back and bring him his drink and take our order and she never did. The Rose Villa Restaurant is a great local place for Italian, fish, and American classics, located close to Portage Lakes. It is a very casual, homey, and comfortable atmosphere with locals, offering a spacious and inviting setting. The menu has a lot of variety to suit anybody's taste, including dishes like prime rib, broiled seafood platter, bang bang shrimp, crab stuffed scampi, smothered chicken, lobster tail, frog legs, and many Italian classics. These include Spaghetti with meatballs, classic eggplant Parmesan, Italian pasta sampler platter, fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, and Italian sausage sub, with a variety of pies for dessert.
The food is delicious, excellent, filling, and a good value with fair and reasonable pricing. Service is always friendly, fast, accurate, and good. It is not a fancy place, but it is consistently recommended as one of the best Italian places in Akron. There is additional parking to the north.
