“Beautiful restaurant wanted to love it. Very good service. Ordered the blackened grouper, it was good but the baked potato was cold served with butter packets that I could not get open. Ruined my experience.“

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“This happens to be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited in northeast Ohio. The service was outstanding. Their menu had a wide variety of food choices as you can see when reading the menu. A nice selection of delicious tacos with beef, chicken, cheese as well as enchiladas with the same type of protein choices. Offering combinations to please everyone, well at least our party. Their Shrimp cocktail, fish, shrimp entrees, Chalupa was really tasty. As far as combinations, a favorite is always Chile Relleno. They offered various combinations including one Chile Relleno, one Beef Taco and one Chalupa with many more combination platters. But a favorite was the Fajita Cozumel entree. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food.“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

“Amazing food, haven’t had all you can eat this good since I was 7. Why bother going anywhere else? The name being “ok wing& fish” is just hilarious 😂 place is wayyyy better than just ok. And 16$ with a drink? Yeah this is my new favorite spot. (I hardly leave reviews but i just had to for this place)“

“I always get the lasagna. It's better than some more expensive Italian restaurants. Unfortunately for the 1st time the noodles were a bit hard at the restaurant in Fairlawn.
The waitress was great and the mgr offered to make another one for me but I already had 2 bowls of soup and was almost already done.“

But I went today and the cashier seemed to be irritated as I was figuring out my order ,rolled her eyes and seemed like we were taking up her precious time. “I’m part of the Sippy club and the place is great fireplace. The lady behind the register was totally cool. Gave her my number she gave my cup. Instructed me where to go so just like home. The Internet was good. Coffee was great. It truly is a nice stop I’ll be back and being from Chicago. We’re kind of spoiled in this place fit fit the bill. Thank you.“
