“I’ve been here half a dozen times but am yet to leave a review. There really isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said—delicious coffee, inviting atmosphere, and excellent customer service. Though it can be a bit crowded at busy times, I’ve never failed to find a seat to sit to do some work and enjoy my beverage. The plants are lovely, bathroom is always clean, and personally, I feel like the music has always been on point. The last thing with mentioning is that I typically don’t care about customer service. I don’t go to any place of business for anyone to be over-the-top and chatty and smiley and happy all the time. But when I come here, the moment I open the door, I’m greeted, and often the barista with red hair is caught in my gaze smiling warmly at me and welcoming me. It’s one of the very few customer service interactions which seems unforced and completely organic. I’ll happily patronize your coffee shop anytime I’m down in the Merriman Valley. Please keep doing the little things right that you’ve already perfected.“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Northeast Ohio area. They are always friendly, the place is cozy, located close to all sorts of other interesting things and they have an amazing tea selection.I'm sad that I don't live closer because I would love to spend more time there. “I live near Tallmadge. I had an appointment in Brecksville, and on the way home, I just had to stop in for the eggnog gelato! It was perfect! Their selection of flavors is wonderful. They have food and specialty coffees also. I'm planning to take a trip back with my daughter for lunch soon. Great place!“

“I picked up a bag of whole bean expresso roast. It is by far the best expresso I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. I feel like every other bean that has been though my machine was a trick and for the first time I know what expresso is supposed to be. The flavor profile of each layer is distinct a delicious. “Since 1947- this place is amazing! Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere delicious sweet treats. We had a croissant style donut with white cream and a cinnamon roll- very fresh and delicious. Decaf coffee was fresh and hot. Hot chocolate was from a dispenser but was hot and tasty, topped with whipped cream. There were several “locals” that welcomed us in to their conversation and made us feel like we belonged- wife is a native but they also welcomed my Southern self. We ate in at a vintage counter with stools, maybe not from ‘47 but a vintage welcoming counter. Would definitely stop in for a treat.Kid-friendliness: Would be a great place to take the kids or grandkids for a treat“
“Cool place for bubble tea! Fun & upbeat atmosphere! Freshly made puffles. Warm & delicious. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Ice cream is also delicious & a balanced portion to the puffle. The rose milk tea was also amazing! It was also freshly made. Tastes great & has just the right amount of the tapioca pearls. The staff was friendly & helpful. Will visit here again very soon! Want to try other items off of their extensive menu.“

“Really loved this place on a Saturday. Lots of reading, group meetings, and we even did a puzzle while we had our lunch and coffees. My plain latte was delicious, no extra syrupy syrups needed!Parking: No issues with parking.Kid-friendliness: It was loud in the space, so it made for a great kid option place. Others were reading (there is also a bookstore in the coffee shop) but I wouldn't have been able to read with the commotion. I loved the vibe of the shop though!“

“I come most Wednesdays for BOGO drinks to treat myself after work, one of my favorite routines. The employees are always super nice, my drinks are always delicious, and the food is always hot. Might be a little slow at times but very well worth it!“

“Myself like most people, avoid the City of Akron like the plague. But Pearl coffee is one bean I will gladly venture the drive for.I consider Pearl Coffee the finest coffee available. Imagine gourmet beans from around the globe roasted right here in Summit county and available to you fresh. The depth of flavor is excellent.Pearl coffee is available at many local restaurants and Acme stores. I go to the Pearl coffee retail store on Broadway st in Akron and get the beans straight from the roaster. The parking is easy and they fill a real 16 oz pound which is a huge value.Parking: Park right in front of the door.“

“Just a short walk from my apartment for such amazing quality coffee! I got the Yia Yia's Kaffe and Reggae Me Crazy beans, and while I've only tried the former, it was delicious!!! “Just went there the other day and grabbed 3 containers of tea. When I tell you this is the BEST TEA EVER! I absolutely am obsessed and I am overjoyed to find a go-to place that has such unique flavors. All the teas are handcrafted and you can definitely taste the difference. My family has been so happy with our tea we sit around every night and drink tea together. (I'm currently typing this and drinking the Ginger Jasmine tea- I highly recommend). Also, the family is so sweet, I will always support local business.“
“I was treated very nicely and so I'm going to give this a high rating for LGBTQAI+. I had the medium roast, my other visitor who came with me had one of the cold brews. Both were very good. I look forward to coming back and trying things from the kitchen. They have a small kitchen and do make small lunchtime snacks. The pastry section though. Small looks absolutely delicious. I wish I wasn't on a diet. There are rooms for private parties and the tables are spaced far enough apart offer a little bit of privacy. The art on the wall is fantastic.
