Evelyn’s Coffee & Banh Mi is definitely worth a visit! The Vietnamese coffee was super good—rich, strong, and full of flavor. The banh mi sandwiches were also excellent, with fresh ingredients and great flavor.
I especially enjoyed the Korean-style banh mi sandwiches—very tasty and a nice twist on the traditional Vietnamese sandwich.

Great hidden coffee shop that happens to make fantastic and very authentic Bahn Mi ...or maybe it's a hidden Bahn Mi shop that happens to make good coffee? Haha. Either way, I'm a big fan and look forward to coming back soon. This is tucked into the shops at lock 3...you can park in the deck and walk down or r park on main Street and simply walk down into lock 3....it's connected to the children's museum...used to be the marble museum?

It's worth the park and walk to taste authentic bahn mi and delicious Vietnamese iced coffee! The cafe area is cozy and bright, with additional seating across the hall and outside, creating a welcoming environment. Customers appreciate the mix of authentic Korean and Vietnamese food, including banh mi, kimbap, and Vietnamese coffee with boba. Although kitchen hours are limited, opening after 10 am, this spot remains perfect for lunch or grabbing a drink in downtown Akron. Options like beef bibimbap are available, and many enjoy the papaya salad and the shop's inviting look.
