“Found them by accident on EZCater for our Saturday lunch at work. Boy did I find a gem! I am embarrassed to admit I had never heard of them.

The food was AWESOME!!! I was worried I was sacrificing quality for the 'per person $' that is tough to hit each week. They nailed both!!

Well done Danny Boys!! We do lunch for the employees every Saturday, you are now in the rotation!!“

“Not gonna lie....I boycotted this place for the past 2 years at least but they must of got rid of whatever the problem was. This used to be my go to place then for some reason the quality just dropped n dropped. Then I felt the urge for their menu and order and got my usual great delivery driver Greg...who definitely needs a raise bc he's a grade A employee. He hasn't seen me in forever and asked why I hadnt ordered from his shop in a while and I explained and he was so determined to please me that he said if I wasn't happy with my order (after I explained why I hadn't ordered from there in a while) that he would personally remake my food and bring it out to me on his own time.....that said a lot to me about Greg and his shop. Give them a chance to redeem their selves. Like I did for them and I couldn't be more pleased. And if u want the most honest delivery guy ask for Greg“

“Heard of this place decided to stop in and try it out the general manager which happened to be behind the bar was real friendly greeting me and going over the menu ordered chips and salsa, a al pastor taco and two shrimp tacos which were really delicious and quality service was fast food was good everyone was friendly definatly recommend this show them some love did try it but they also have brunch breakfast and lunch menu plus tacos I'll be back to try some of the brunch stuff 5 out of 5“

Wow .. this place was a treasure to find and with seasonal menus and delish food we will return often. Mandy and her team are excellent and they are so fun to chat with… ask about the real Grandma the place is named for !
Hope you can have the hand made Mushroom Ravioli before it leaves the menu !“

“I've been back in Akron for over a year and finally found some Italian food with seasoning. I just finished a lovely Calzone that was excellent. I could see all the extra items that I added and the food was fresh. When I ask for extras, I want to see and taste them. Thank you to San Marino for making that happen. It was delicious.“

“I always come to this Piada and it is always good. This time around I ordered cannoli chips but did not receive them in my online order. I called and the situation was rectified immediately. “We learned this evening that Parasson’s has pulled from their menu the Italian Wedding Soup and Chicken Alfredo. The owner stated his father didn’t have Alfredo on the menu and he isn’t either. As far as the wedding soup, the explanation given was simply, the kitchen runs out of soup at the most inconvenient times. However, our waitress said if enough request to bring the soup back, it will be brought back. BRING BACK THE WEDDING SOUP!!“

“I went into going here with a bit of bias and an family discount due to my cousin however the pizza was amazingly tasty, the service was great I was able to make a custom pizza and basically made a delicious chicken pesto pizza with the chef even coming out and asking me if he got it right. ONE THING I will say is it is pricey and I did get a discount as I said but price is worth it for the food. Overall whenever I visit I will be coming back here and dining in maybe take out as well!“

“I love the chicken parm and my partner said the wedding soup cup that came with was delicious (too many vegetables for me). The white peach sangria cocktail is the best alcohol on the earth.

Where we were seated the music felt a little loud and overwhelming, so 1 star off atmosphere for that.

Our server was also a bartender so she was incredible with answering my partners questions with the alcohol menu. She also checked on us frequently and was truly kind!

“I was there today for a luncheon with my widows group. I ordered the 4 pc mixed chicken with jojo’s and salad bar. Everything was good and our server, Christine, was awesome. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce to go for my home bound husband. I was disappointed that it did not come with bread nor salad. I didn’t have much time to check the prices but was a little shocked when my total bill was $31.70. Since you do not offer an item receipt, I have no way of checking the individual pricing. I will definitely check the menu more closely next time.“

“Since moving to Ohio a year and a half ago, my family and I have made it a point to try different restaurants around the area. One place that caught our attention was the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, located right next to the University of Akron. I first discovered it through DoorDash while picking up orders in the area, and since we’re big fans of Italian food, I suggested we give it a try. We decided to go there as a way to celebrate two special milestones—our daughter moving into her dorm and our son starting 7th grade. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the restaurant’s unique, nostalgic decor. It has an old boardwalk theme, complete with vintage arcade machines like the claw game and a love tester, which both my kids and my wife enjoyed. It gave the place a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We were greeted and seated by our server, Jackie, who was fantastic throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, while looking over the menu, we noticed several items that were listed but not actually available, which was disappointing. For food, my wife chose to build her own spaghetti with the Pomodoro sauce—a blend of marinara and Alfredo—and she really enjoyed it. She also had the house salad with ranch, which she said was fresh and flavorful. My son built his own spaghetti with meat sauce and two meatballs, and he loved his meal as well. I decided on the 15-layer lasagna, which the menu described as “incredible.” Sadly, I didn’t feel the same—it looked a little burnt, tasted chewy, and reminded me more of a frozen lasagna than something freshly made. Overall, the food was hit-or-miss. My wife and son enjoyed their meals, while mine was underwhelming. The service, however, was excellent, and Jackie really made the experience more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot with a fun atmosphere and decent spaghetti, Spaghetti Warehouse isn’t a bad choice. Just be prepared for a few menu inconsistencies and don’t expect every dish to live up to the hype.“

I may be a bit biased, as I worked for him when I was in college, but I wouldn’t promote the restaurant if I didn’t love the food!! 5 Stars!!!“
