“The wife and I made a day trip to Akron to pick up something and thought we’d stop in for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Seated promptly and the waitress reviewed the specials and let us look at the menu for a minute. The owner came out and talked about some of the specials and brought us a sample treat. We ordered a couple of the eggs Benedict daily specials (one was the classic and the other was corned beef). We upgraded the hash browns to Mystic potatoes (cheesy hash browns). Everything was delicious! The cheesy hash browns were phenomenal and the Benedicts were both very good. My wife also got some pancakes which were cooked perfectly! There was enough food to bring some home for tomorrow! Highly recommend!“

“I put 4 stars for service, but only because the servers are tending tables and the bar. I know they bust their butts and we appreciate them! I would like to see faster service for tables, but again, I understsnd. Great people, atmosphere. Prices went up over the years , but that is everywhere. Still worth a membership! We go often! “I stopped in on Saturday, looking for some soup… sadly, no soup, buuuuttttt, an excellent steak special. $13.99 for a pretty hefty piece of meat, choice of potato, and salad. It was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly to order and I had plenty to take home for lunch on Sunday!!! Highly recommend checking this place out!!!“

“The famous Belgrade Gardens. My family used to frequent this restaurant at least monthly years ago. Most of our family has since moved away or no longer with us. First time back in the area for many years and had to stop in for a dinner. The food is still wonderful! The Barberton Chicken is still great, legendary “hot sauce” rice and cole slaw. Home cooked, delicious and very reasonable. If you have not been it is really worth a stop. Yes it is an old school place but it’s a gem!“

From the white french dressing to the new Cider chicken with caramelized onions and a perfectly cooked ribeye it was all delicious! Hubby had to have a piece of cheesecake w/ freshly made raspberry puree, he had to end up sharing...it was sooo good.“

“LaCole took on my New Year's Day luncheon with very limited notice from me. However, even with the short time to prepare, she knocked it out the park. She had a menu for me within hours, very professionally put together. On the day of, she came in plenty of time to setup...and The FOOD was beyond my expectations. My guest raved about evey dish. “Moe helped me to arrange a wonderful luncheon in her dining room after my Mom's funeral service for cousins and friends. Moe was so kind with great suggestions. Her staff, particularly John, were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere with linen and fresh flowers was lovely. The food was great and the service terrific. A few guests had dietary restrictions Moe was happy to accommodate. Everyone in attendance was complimentary. Thank you Moe, John and all involved. A 5 star experience.“

“Food is good - when they are open. Saturday at 2:30 they were already closed. If business is slow or they are shorthanded, they close. Hours are never reliable. Call first. PS - not trans-gender friendly. I know someone who was told that they can’t use the bathroom there.“

“We went on a Friday night and it was very busy so we were sat upstairs. It was quieter upstairs so it was easier to talk. Bartenders Sean and Audry were great. She recommended the Ricotta Red pizza w/cauliflower crust, fabulous suggestion. Food came out fast and hot. It has a very nice atmosphere with a good selection of beer. Audrey was knowledgeable about the beer. Sean was great to talk with.“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

Lots of options on the menu, food wasn't that great ; probably a step up from bar food, was disappointed. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Overall atmosphere was great. “If you want something more than the typical hospital cafeteria food, then try Virtues. They are located on the ground floor of Akron Summa hospital. I am at the hospital because a family member is having surgery, and this restaurant was recommended by the desk staff. You walk to the counter and order. They give you a buzzer that signals you when the order is ready. I had the signature BLT and a side Ceasar salad. The salad was good size, lettuce was crisp and fresh. The BLT is served on sourdough bread and had a chitpotle mayo that gave it a good flavor and just a tinge of heat. For expecting "hospital" food, this was a pleasant surprise. It cost me just under $20 for the sandwich, salad, and a fountain drink.“

“My husband and I got a night out on our own and ended up here. We started with the pickle fries and drinks. He had a peanut butter old fashion, and I went with the Dark & Stormy. I'm a fan of Gosling's Black Seal and was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. For our entrees, he got the Reuben and I had the Shroomin' Burger. We love seeing that they use The Farmer's Rail for their burgers - delicious, locally-raised meats. For dessert, I saw the creme brulee on the menu. it turned out to be a mango creme brulee! Such a delicate mango flavor, creamy, not overly sweet. Great service, great food... We'll definitely be back for nights out!“

Service has been a bit more hit or miss lately, which may be due to staffing. Just longer waits for food and servers checking in less, but overall still a spot in our regular rotation for food and drinks.“

“This was our first time going and it was honestly so good! It’s super refreshing to find a restaurant that does breakfast but in a healthy way! I love that most dishes have avocado as an ingredient because of the health benefits. I personally cannot eat avocado due to an intolerance but my food was still amazing even when I took it out! I got the Eggs Benedict - BLT.. I don’t even have words to describe it. The greens were crunchy, the hollandaise sauce was citrusy, the eggs were perfectly jammy while my bread was beautifully toasted and the bacon and tomato just added to it. I got it with the side of potatoes and those were perfect. I will absolutely be coming back. Also, I’m not big on coffee at all, but their coffee is so amazing that I actually had to get a bag for home.“

“This place is beautiful. We cannot wait to come back in the spring/summer and enjoy the deck. The grounds are gorgeous, the restaurant itself is elegant and warm. The food was great- we had the scallops entree, a strip steak and the lemon feta appetizer. All wonderful. But the star of the show was our waitress, Ashley.
