“The wife and I made a day trip to Akron to pick up something and thought we’d stop in for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Seated promptly and the waitress reviewed the specials and let us look at the menu for a minute. The owner came out and talked about some of the specials and brought us a sample treat. We ordered a couple of the eggs Benedict daily specials (one was the classic and the other was corned beef). We upgraded the hash browns to Mystic potatoes (cheesy hash browns). Everything was delicious! The cheesy hash browns were phenomenal and the Benedicts were both very good. My wife also got some pancakes which were cooked perfectly! There was enough food to bring some home for tomorrow! Highly recommend!“

“I put 4 stars for service, but only because the servers are tending tables and the bar. I know they bust their butts and we appreciate them! I would like to see faster service for tables, but again, I understsnd. Great people, atmosphere. Prices went up over the years , but that is everywhere. Still worth a membership! We go often! “We stopped in for lunch, we ordered the chicken and fish which came with 3 sides. Our order came out quickly, hot, and fresh.The homemade coleslaw was amazing, we also tried the apple sauce, hand cut fries, famous hot sauce, and green beans. They were very good and fresh. The chicken flavor was very good and the breading complimented the chicken. The fish was also very good, the batter was crisp locking in the flavor.
The portion sizes on the appetizers and the meals were very generous. Our server Kelly was very friendly, and made our dining experience great.

“I stopped in on Saturday, looking for some soup… sadly, no soup, buuuuttttt, an excellent steak special. $13.99 for a pretty hefty piece of meat, choice of potato, and salad. It was delicious! “As someone who’s picky, this is a must experience place. Anything and everything that was fried in the tallow was amazing (I don’t eat fried foods usually). The Red Ricotta pizza, 10/10, smash burger solid. Great draft selection, cocktails were made with detail, fresh basil, and fresh mint.

The architecture and vibe is top notch. Saturday night and the 90s country was playing just loud enough. Not annoyingly can’t hear the person next to you loud, but enough to remind you it’s Saturday night and live music/fireworks is in route.

Lastly and most importantly, seeing the owners running food, washing glasses, and laughing with their employees tells you all you need to know. You can only wish the best for people of that character!“

“This was our first time going and it was honestly so good! It’s super refreshing to find a restaurant that does breakfast but in a healthy way! I love that most dishes have avocado as an ingredient because of the health benefits. I personally cannot eat avocado due to an intolerance but my food was still amazing even when I took it out! I got the Eggs Benedict - BLT.. I don’t even have words to describe it. The greens were crunchy, the hollandaise sauce was citrusy, the eggs were perfectly jammy while my bread was beautifully toasted and the bacon and tomato just added to it. I got it with the side of potatoes and those were perfect. I will absolutely be coming back. Also, I’m not big on coffee at all, but their coffee is so amazing that I actually had to get a bag for home.“

Sadly, however, the last few times I’ve been in, I’ve sampled several of their gluten free baked goods which were all subpar. Today I told myself that the red velvet cupcake would determine whether I ever tried another of their gf baked goods. I used to love this place in the Wellness Center, when the cafe was 100% gluten free, and the red velvet cupcakes, scones and muffins were exceptional. Thought I’d spare a gluten free soul by sharing my experiences.“

“rockne’s has been my favorite restaurant since i was a kid. they closed all the closest ones to me so now we drive 40 minutes just to go to this one because it’s amazing every time!!! the service is amazing and the food always comes out quickly. the food is delicious every time, and they give huge portion of fries. the prices are also incredibly fair for how much food you get. i’ll always come back to rockne’s and i wish there were still more of them closer to us!!“

“I have been here a total of three times. Every time I have been here the food, drinks and service have been top tier. The whiskey drinks, and the wine they have are fantastic. My favorite meal so far there is the parm crusted filet and favorite side is the rosemary smashed potatoes. Favorite appetizer is the twiced fried chicken wings. The price is worth it as well.“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“
