“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. “The food was fantastic. Delicious. We had the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and grave, and the roasted pork dinner. The pork dinner comes with rolls and three sides. We chose broccoli salad, green beans and sweet potato casserole. All were fabulous. We also chose custard pie and cherry pie for dessert. Both were wonderful. As good as the food, was the service. “My husband and I eat from here quite often he gets the grilled chicken salad and I get the club burger add mushrooms and mine is by far the best burger in the area it's triple the usual size and has all the fixings so it's gigantic and I use a fork and knife fries are good as well but eat them fresh when they're cold -they seem greasy . My husband's salad is also a monster that takes him 2 meals to finish completely I don't care for the way it's made and portions of chicken to lettuce but he gives it a solid 8 of 10 only food item I say for everyone to avoid is the country gravy it's a disappointment looks purple and clearly a generic can ed substance it ruined the whole plate it was on for me I refuse to order breakfast simply because of it I don't know why fresh made isn't available .. we take it home so I don't know on atmosphere -the 2 employees I've dealt with are ok and polite most of the time it seems they're overworked and exhausted 90% of the time so it's a toss up for me I'll update in future.“

When we arrived the menu was VERY specific though and the burger special was for just the Black and Blue burger. Which two of us got and it was very delicious. The meat was very good. I also enjoyed the French fries. Our third party member opted for the Philly cheesesteak instead and said it was ok but not worth the $20 price. So not trying to be negative, just honest opinion. The restaurant was packed by the time we left, so very happy we came early at 4:30 pm. Our server did a good job. He was a very serious person, Lol. But everything came out as ordered.
