(Scallops were a little over-spiced, mashed potatoes a slight bit gummy, salad was huge & really excellent) The creme brulee was ahh-maze-ing!Music was somewhat too loud to converse over easily, but the variety of music played was good.Wait staff was great & efficient.Vegetarian options: This place is all about steak. Vegetarian options are limited to salad, baked potato, baked sweet potato, and other sides. There are a few seafood offerings for pescatarians. Vegans will need to ask for no butter on potato, no egg or cheese on salad, etc.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free (not celiac) is rough here, with batter-coated French fries, and gluten in some seasonings.“
“Traveling on I80 and stopped for the night at a hotel and Rockne's Pub looked like an inviting place to eat. Very nice menu and we received excellent service throughout our stay. I tried the black bean soup which came in a very large bowl and was very good. My wife had the Reuben which she enjoyed. Of course, there was Yuengling on tap which we always enjoy. We had a very nice meal and time at Rockne's Pub.“
“Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had in years. I had the sirloin and my wife had the filet. Excellent price and much cheaper than brown derby. You definitely get a good size steak! Only issue was why no rolls? Nice clean place and excellent service! We are going there again for sure!“
“Funny that someone who write a review that they were turned down service because of their skin color because when I first walked into this bar there where some people of color there. They appeared to be regulars. Nice people can't imagine they would treat someone different based on skin color.“
