“The restaurant's mission is consistency and the food is ALWAYS delicious. The short rib bruschetta paired with the Maison Nicholas Pinot Noir was absolute perfection. I constantly enjoy sitting in the pub area and my mom, dad, and significant other especially enjoy the pub food including the short rib nachos and pretzels.I love to get my holiday wine here as well. I am always so impressed with how much variety NE has. I managed to get a case with all of my favorites including a Beaujolais Nouveau, Georges Duboeuf Pinot Noir, and Lobster Reef Sauvignon Blanc for the upcoming holidays. I do wish that the beer selection had a tad more variety as we enjoy ciders, sours, goses, and stouts and the fridge was mostly IPAs but overall, always a wonderful visit to this local gem.PS. Lambic beer is a little rare to find and I'm really glad NE stocked this!“
“Amazing cozy place. Has great atmosphere. Family who owns it are amazing, everyone is so helpful and considerate. I’m new vegan so I was very honored to be treated with chefs special vegetable plate dinner. Drinks are amazing. They have team of servers that has been with them for long time, this makes it very authentic and knowledgeable. Loved everything about it. Upstairs and downstairs both equally amazing spots.Vegetarian options: Some dishes certainly could be ordered as we can option. Chef is happy to create something special and beautiful for your taste.“
“In a strip plaza, you walk through a time portal into a cute diner! Huge food selection and breakfast is served all day! Must try the Manhattan Clam Chowder… it’s not what you think but delicious! Clean, quaint, and good food!Kid-friendliness: Loads of old fashioned character in this diner setting… my son loved it!“
“The food was predictably good, as was the service. The restaurant was quite noisy and, as we were a party of 6, the seating configuration wasn't conducive to us having a conversation. They put a table for 2 at the end of a table for 4, extending into the aisle. A large square or round table would have been preferable.“
“Started with a great cocktail at the bar. Bartender was exceptional. Meet a great young couple at the bar. Had dinner in the bar area. Waiter Joe was very knowledgeable and was able to get me the last elk chip which was just amazing. Chef did a great job and also prepared my wife's steak perfectly. Great evening with great food and drink.“
“The bartender was really nice. We talked about our pets. Seems to be a place where regulars hang out (I was with my friend whose hometown is Hudson and she was super familiar with it). A friend I used to have told me it's a swinger's bar, but I didn't investigate that claim, haha. We didn't have any food. My friend and I were having an after dinner drink and then we left. Pretty nice end to a girls' night on a Thursday.“
“Brought my mom in who rarely gets out due to Covid and being compromised health wise. I requested seating away from others and my request was met with a smile and a “sure”. We enjoyed a great meal, our server Brandy was exceptional. Steve was the chef and he was top notch too! Thanks for a great lunch!“
“The restaurant was a very sports grill atmosphere like- included many large screen TV's. Food (BURGERS) were awesome. Must be handmade onion rings...different and extremely tasty ?. Side sause with meal was also not common, but was uncommonly tasty too! From beginning to end, it was a wonderful adventure.“
“Love this iconic Hudson restaurant! (See what I did there..??) Nice blend of traditional and eclectic cuisine served in a very comfortable and casual atmosphere. Went with my wife on Valentines Day. I gladly ordered the special beef short ribs with wine reduction and my wife opted for the classic fish fry. Both were fantastic - proper doneness, temperature and flavor. Did you know that Hudsons has a HUGE selection of bourbons on their bar menu? World class!“
“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“
