“We had an excellent dinner and fantastic service. Our server was attentive, thoughtful, and thorough. We enjoyed watching the wildlife just outside the window of our booth. The charm and small town feel is icing on the cake. The level of care for something as simple as taking the rest of our food to go is something you just don't see that often. Highly recommend stopping in or ordering some food to go!“

“This is not your average Applebee’s. Every time I come in, the food, service, and atmosphere are top tier. Huge shoutout to Kelly, Noah, Jeremy, Alivia, Maddy, and Kyle, they are absolutely killer behind the bar and out on the floor. They make the place feel welcoming, fun, and well-run every single time.
The servers are attentive, the bartenders are on point, and the food comes out great. You can tell this team actually cares about the guest experience. Definitely one of the best Applebee’s locations I’ve been to. Highly recommend.“

She had a menu for me within hours, very professionally put together. On the day of, she came in plenty of time to setup...and The FOOD was beyond my expectations. My guest raved about evey dish. However, I thought the 3% up charge for using a credit card vs cash to pay the bill was a bit petty due to the already inflated menu prices. This left me wondering; why the owner thought it was more important to cover their $5 cost at the expense of me returning again?“

“We came here last night for the first time. My husband and I both ordered steak medium well. They both came out medium rare. My husbands steak was tough. After they fixed mine it was amazing! They took my husband dinner off the bill. They were pretty busy. We def will give them one more try. The staff was really nice and accommodating. It was cold inside so being a jacket or two. 😅“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

If I were to recommend one thing, I say go for the onion rings! Fresh, hot, crunchy and not greasy at all. It's definitely a place we will be coming back to.“

“If you want something more than the typical hospital cafeteria food, then try Virtues. They are located on the ground floor of Akron Summa hospital. I am at the hospital because a family member is having surgery, and this restaurant was recommended by the desk staff. You walk to the counter and order. They give you a buzzer that signals you when the order is ready. I had the signature BLT and a side Ceasar salad. The salad was good size, lettuce was crisp and fresh. The BLT is served on sourdough bread and had a chitpotle mayo that gave it a good flavor and just a tinge of heat. For expecting "hospital" food, this was a pleasant surprise. It cost me just under $20 for the sandwich, salad, and a fountain drink.“

“We had an exceptional experience at North End 2.0 tonight.
A quick note for first-time visitors: although they open earlier for wine and retail bottle sales, dinner service does not begin until 5:00 pm, and they are not taking reservations yet. We arrived at 4:30 and were happy to enjoy a bottle of wine while we waited—but it’s helpful to know there is no food service prior to 5.
Once dinner began, everything was outstanding. Our server recommended a bottle of wine that was absolutely excellent and set the tone for the evening.
We started with the beet carpaccio special, served with an incredible assortment of bread—pita and a lovely Italian bread—alongside olive oil, balsamic, and Parmesan. Truly delicious.
For entrées, I ordered the Alaskan sablefish, and my husband had the short rib with gnocchi. Both dishes were exquisitely prepared—mouthwatering, beautifully balanced, and deeply satisfying. I honestly cannot remember the last time I cleaned my plate at a restaurant. If it hadn’t been socially inappropriate, I might have licked it.
The service and atmosphere were attentive without being overbearing. Our server checked in thoughtfully, the owner stopped by to make sure we were happy, and another staff member followed up as well—it was clear there is a genuine commitment here to hospitality and excellence.
We finished by sharing a dessert that deserves special mention: a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie stuffed with strawberry cheesecake ice cream. NOT One bite was left behind! Looking forward to another visit soon.“

“We had a wonderful dinner on October 7th with friends. This is the 4th visit to this restaurant, and each time has been very good. We have used the movie suites as well and enjoyed that experience. “Last night we had the gyro, the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and the wings. The gyro was fantastic! It was stuffed with meat, veggies, and a flavorful tzatziki sauce. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which was the special of the evening, was a personal size, top glazed meatloaf set in a mound of homemade mashed potatoes with a wonderful gravy. It was flavorful and filling. The wings were huge and juicy. We had the honey habanero sauce which was amazing. We highly recommend West Ave Tavern for a fantastic meal, drinks and atmosphere.“
