January 12 2022..This place is my new fave Mexican restaurant!!! I've never had a better rilleno anywhere! Especially the one I had here from the old owner...actually did not have a chile in it!!! Great salsa!

Im not expecting a 5 star restaurant. I got a chicken quesadilla for 12.99. Very very tiny portions for full price. It was less than half the amount of chicken of any other chicken quesadilla you can get at any Mexican restaurant in the area. There was hardly any cheese either.They were not busy at all.Waitress was friendly and attentive so that's why I'm giving 2 stars. Go up the road to El jalapeño and for same price they know how to make food.

Before this restaurant was opened by new people, the inside was gross. Outdated decor, sticky floors and booths were falling apart, but the food was amazing. Everything I ever got from them was good, not matter what it was.Now it’s opened under a new owner, and while the new owner made amazing changes to the actual restaurant, cleaned up, new booths, paint, cleaned the floors and carpet, what suffered the moat was the food. I tried the bare minimum, beef tacos and rice, I was disappointed to say the least. Zero flavor to the tacos, felt like there was no seasoning at all, if any. And my rice was severely undercooked, it was still crunchy. Only good thing me and my girlfriend had was the queso dip, which was good. The staff is super nice tho, our server took off my tacos when I said they weren’t good. So overall the updates the actual restaurant and staff are great, but I feel the food is lacking.
