When I tell you this is the best greasy spoon restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. Everyone was so nice the prices are low and the food is GREAT! If I didn’t live 45 minutes away. I would be here probably daily. lol.

My friend dragged me downtown to try some upscale, hip & trendy joint that just opened up for breakfast. Unfortunately, that establishment doesn't open up until 11 a.m. to serve "breakfast". Turns out, that was a blessing in disguise, because Cissy's Diner is the kind of joint that serves breakfast at breakfast time. If you're like me, and you know the difference between breakfast and brunch, eat at Cissy's. They'll be glad to have you. Our server was very friendly and made good conversation. The food is classic breakfast fare, and the prices are the fairest you'll find.
