My client passed away a few weeks ago. His wife and son wanted to have a small repast dinner there. They had us in the middle of the diner and pushed the tables together so we all could sit. Some had sat a the booths but the majority of us were at the long table. We were anywhere between 20 and 30 people. The Staff were very friendly & kind. When other customers walked in they looked at us and smiled as we smiled back, with a nod and a hi. My Mother, Auntie, and I felt peacefully comfortable. We were the only 3 African-American people that came to the repast dinner. The staff were interactive with us as they were with everyone whom came into their establishment. We felt nothing but love. Went to Dee’s for the first time this morning and it won’t be the last time!! The food was great, the decor was 50s charming and everyone there was very friendly. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. The icing on the cake was our server AKA the owner’s daughter :-). Two thumbs up great job guys!!

we had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and it was terrible! mashed potatoes was just a boiled potato with some kind of thick sauce on top. meatloaf was tasteless. restaurant itself was nice, as was the owner(?). will not go back....

if i could give less than one star, i honestly would. they never have more than one server at a time and they simply cannot handle having more than a few tables. i sat around waiting for 50 minutes for my food and watched three tables who’d came in after me get their food before me and i ordered right when i’d sat down. sadly my food was paid for by someone else so they still made money off of me even tho I left before my food came out.

Usually get the Swiss steak everytime I come here. Its great. The decor is a little run down but who cares? The food is excellent and a good value. One of these days I'll try something else other than the Swiss steak and mashed potatoes but they are so good.

Stopped for a meal and I ordered the grilled chicken salad. Nice portion, fresh veggies and my favorite deciding factor, a hard boiled egg on my salad. Yum. It was good, and the staff was friendly.

Was a great food experience from start to finish!!! We were greeted immediately and sat. Within a few minutes given menus and asked for our drink order. I think our severs name was Tania, she was very nice, she never hesitated when we asked for something. I got the deluxe breakfast which was 2 huge pancakes eggs, meat, potatoes and toast for $10.75. It was more than I could eat!! Coffee was the lowest price I’ve seen anywhere, $1.60 unlimited strong refills! Not your normal brown water!! Long story short, amazing! You won’t be disappointed! Check it out!
