I frequent this Mexican restaurant because of the savory, well portioned, reasonably priced fajitas and sweet fried ice cream. They make their own salsa, too, which is also satisfying.

Lunch today at El Tule. The restaurant is on Tuscarawas, a few doors down from the theater. The place was about a third full, so there was no waiting time for a table. I ordered the burrito lunch special. It comes with rice, beans, lettuce, and sour cream. My wife had the enchilada chipotle. It came with rice and a quesadia. Chips and salsa on the house served before the main meal. The food was good and filling. The burrito was tasty. They use ground beef instead of shredded beef. You get a full plate of food.
I cleared my plate. They also have domestic and Mexican bottled beer. Our server was attentive. The inside is decorated with the usual Mexican decor, sombrero, and such. Price was reasonable, two lunches and two beers for $25.

More authentic than most Mexican restaurants. Many choices on menu. A good food stop that is within walking distance of the Lake 8 Cinema.

Parking: Huge free lots, and on street parking.

Seen the positive reviews and decided to try. Wasn't impressed. Stopped in for lunch, place was empty. I ordered tacos with pico on side. My husband got a fajita. Prices are average - pricey and portions are SMALL, especially the pico. It was $2 for literally 2 SPOONS of pico. Waitress wasn't very friendly, I thought maybe because of a language barrier. When finished, my husband paid and handed her a $5 tip and said "this is for you," she just looked at him and said "ok." No "thank you or thanks for coming in or goodbye" or anything. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant. The food was ok, but the small portions along with the price point, and attitude we won't be back.

El Tule is a great spot to grab lunch or dinner. Food is fresh and served really fast. Waiting staff are attentive to what we need and do a good job of checking on the table every 10 min or so. We will be going back again.

Super good good! The service was great! It only took like 5 minutes for them to make the food. It was super noisy in there though.
