Chicken & Waffles and southern style breakfast. Staff was friendly, food was hot and freshly prepared. The location is in an old 70’s style diner that has been refreshed. Situated next to the railroad tracks. Is this the food side of the tracks or the bad side of the tracks? Judging by the experience and the freshly painted neighboring businesses, I would call it the up and coming side of the tracks. Service was a little slow, but that is expected with made to order food. The portion sizes were fair for the pricing. The chicken was flavorful, the waffles were crunchy, but not too tough, the house syrup was a nice flavor punch. Hot sauce on the tables.Overall a good brunch experience. I will eat here again.Just not the place to go when you’re in a rush.

I went into this "business" on the 21st of March to inquire about a dishwasher position and when I say that I've never had a worse experience with a potential employer is an understatement.1. I was on time for the 9:30 appointment but had to waait around for an extra 15 to 30 minutes for his"hiring manager" to get there didn't offer me a drink while I waited nothing just wholy unprofessional (more on that later)2.while waiting for his enforcer (his exact words was she handles my dirty work) Mr black owned business asked me about my job history something that I'm proud to answer as I have some pretty big named places under my belt this man just went out of his way just to complain and project his insecurities and bad management skills he proudled on for the majority of the interview talking about how he doesn't care if a person came from culinary arts school this is his business basically undermining anything that a person has to say because he's the first and last black guy with a fried chicken restaurant he made assessments about my character without knowing anything about me but would say statements like My customers are white so all that ghetto stuff I don't need (im paraphrasing because if I told you what he actually said it would be appalling to most)despite never giving him a inkling that I was cut from that kind of cloth which I'm not but once again projecting his true energies on other people it's also a huge turn-off to hear somebody use predatory language like my customers are white so that gives you the right to talk down to your own race of people which I have seen him do in the reviews nothing but sharp & dismissive language when it comes to black or black adjacent but because you rely on white people's money if they have a complaint it's alleviating a problem so for the white people in the back that feel like that's not keep in mind that the moment that you do something he will engage with you in this type of behavior3. When his manager did show up I didn't even get halfway through my application before she started concocting a plan to get free labor out of it no exaggeration they wanted me to come in on their busiest day and do a test run which is highly illegal I call the Ohio Labor board and asked and they said that that is highly unethical and illegal to work a person or five six hours and not pay them but I asked him could I even get something to drink he mockingly said yeah we'll give you a meal but overall the fact that I have a 13-month-old daughter at home have worked in million dollar kitchens and Fortune 500 companies yet you reduce me to some random amalgamation of your failures lets me know that you won't have your business that long so enjoy your quote-unquote white man's money while you can because if this is how you talk to people and you run a business I don't see too much success in your futureAnd to be fair people have a right to hire and not hire who they choose but it's the way that you go about it I was nothing but the utmost professional upbeat optimistic and positive and for him to react that way not knowing me shows what type of person he is if you're not somebody that he ran the streets with slept with or is related to then he and his staff feels like they doesn't have to respect you aside from being white of course Garbage person food looks absolutely mids and there's a reason why they put you in the back in a barberton Good luck God bless also know that I live around where your business is at and you will see me everyday if anything happens to me because I see what type of person you are just how you carry yourself professionally if anything happens to me you will be all solely responsible steer clear of businesses like this people dei at it's finest

Best burger around. Big ol patty served on a toasted onion roll with two slices of cheese oozing out the edges. Good seasoned fries too. Wife loved her chicken strips. Kinda small, but crispy with a hint of spice. Our third venture to Pops. Had to give glowing review. Bump Fay Ray, Eat n Run, and the rest. This should be your spot!! Don't miss!

Just tried this place today for the first time. We ordered the chicken and waffles of course and also a breakfast platter with hash browns, eggs, sausage links, and toast. Everything was delicious, we ate every bite. They have a house made syrup that contains cinnamon. It was delectable as well. The chicken was seasoned very well. We will be returning ?

Stopped for lunch today. A little late for breakfast, so I decided to have the chicken dinner. Good choice. The chicken came hot, right out of the fryer. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Very tasty. It was served with slaw and fries. The service was excellent and I need to come back another time for the signature waffles.
