Graeter's Ice Cream

Absolutely delicious! We asked the servers what was good and they highly recommended a few flavors. I don’t normally like cookie dough ice cream much but the girl really recommended it so gave it a taste test. Omg, it was amazing. The cookie dough was perfect and the chocolate chips were so god. Husband got the s’mores which again I’m usually meh on. They got the flavor perfectly. It actually tasted like a roasted marshmallow.

This was my first time going to this place. I originally went in wanting chocolate ice cream with nuts and was offered a sample of the raspberry chocolate chip ice cream. It tasted very good and had tiny shavings of chocolate in it. Although I typically don't like chocolate chips it seemed so mild I decided to get one scoop with pecans on top to go. As I got on the interstate and started to eat the ice cream within my third bite I ended up with a very large chunk of solid chocolate and my mouth which I spit out, threw away and summed it up as some kind of mistake. I immediately found another chunk of chocolate which I again threw away. However, once I found a third & fourth chuck I realized something must be really wrong with this batch and that I should let the store know. I contacted the store and was informed that this was normal. Knowing it was my first time here, it should have been explained what I was getting. I paid $7 + $2 tip for a scoop of solid chocolate chunks and very little actual ice cream. I find it literally difficult to swallow these almost 3" chunks of so called chocolate "chips".

Good variety and good ice cream. I visit here everytime I come to Pinecrest and it’s great everytime. The ice cream has flavor and it’s super refreshing, especially if it’s a hot day. My only complaint is that with the way that they do it behind the counter it can get kind of confusing as to where you’re supposed to go and who’s giving you your ice cream. They kind of talk to multiple people at once over the counter, but it’s not a big deal. Just a little confusing. Usually just when it’s busy. I always get good ice cream in the end.

Whoever was working today (5/7/24) was very rude and antagonistic towards a friend and I. We walked in and were met with a greeting and a greeting was given back in turn, however, the music was so loud it was not heard by them and so when we approached the counter they ignored us for several minutes and then acted surprised to see us up at the counter and then made a comment to us about our politeness because we chose not to yell over the music. We informed them of needing an allergy scoop several times and then when told that once again, they cursed at us and said that they were trying to get it done and left to go back once again for several minutes. I left my drink on the counter and we left. We feel as if we were racially profiled for absolutely no reason. The service overall was terrible and if you are a person of color, I urge you to take your money somewhere else.

A most excellent ice cream parlor. Found it online but got several great reviews verbally from the locals during the day. I was recommended to try the black raspberry chocolate chunk and wasn't disappointed at all. Such a great flavor and awesome ice cream. Also tried the Midnight snack [can't remember the exact name]. This was good too but the black raspberry chocolate chunk was way better.

standard ice cream, nothing more, nothing less. Is it the best? is it the worst? No and no. Its good and nice to have around the corner. Would I go out of my way to come here - no. Would I go here next time I am at Pinecrest - yes
