It was attendance of my mothers 78th Birthday, and we were invited by her best friend, the service was excellent, our waiter went above and beyond, even snapping a few photo's of our group, the food was plentiful and flavorful, in and when I am back in Cleveland, I will make it my task to come and enjoy the experience once again.

This is one post that I find very difficult to do but I feel it must be spoken on, our family placed an order about 8:30 1/2 hour before closing at 9:00 we placed the order for our favorite egg foo young, orange chicken, one spring roll, and one egg roll, with Crispy noodles,All for about $50 bucks get all the way home, the food was still hot, as we were preparing to serve dinner. The egg foo young patties weren't even round they were just thrown together any kind of way. The crispy noodles were stale, orange chicken the chicken was cooked hard so it was hard to chew. I am very disappointed this is never happened before we refer several people there we've had several dinner parties there with friends and family and this was just shocking to have this experience happen. Please beware of the possibility of things that can happen. So the only thing was to do is Salvage what is eatable and discard the rest. Very disappointing:(

One of my favs to bring people to as they may not be aware of this location for Chinese food.
Our usual order for appetizers is the Pu Pu Platter, but this time opted to get egg drop soup and crab rangoon as we missed having those while we were travelling elsewhere.
We got the Cashew Chicken and Chicken Mei Fun for entrees. Those two dishes actually go very well together. I recommend ordering them if you don't want the soy sauce heavy or sweet type of entrees as this will give you a 'clean' taste profile.
Please be aware that you may not have cell reception while at the restaurant - this is actually one of the reasons I specifically bring people here for.

I hadn't visited Ho Wah for a while, but this time the service was excellent, from the young man who cleans the place to the very friendly waiters. The food doesn't lose its flavor. I'll be visiting soon.

I’ve been going to Hoa for years and I usually get the spring rolls which are excellent. The price keeps going up and nothing has changed. However, last night I bought orange chicken with fried rice and shrimp fried rice. The rice fried rice was dark no egg no vegetables, except some peas, tiny peas no good flavor at all. My orange chicken is $20 and the chicken was hard fried and hard with the sauce over it it was absolutely horrible if I had a saw it before I would’ve taken it back I paid $41 for a meal. That was absolutely tasteless and they should’ve been ashamed to even sell it. The gentleman was 2nd to 9 as far as his mannerism Customer Service and Always. The atmosphere is nice but the food that day orange chicken was horrifying and the fried rice was something I’ve never had. I get vegetable fried rice from a place called panda buffet that is second to tonight And that when I had it, I threw it away. It was ridiculously terrible. I still want my money back

I have been getting to go here since before pandemic and it has always been good. My last two experiences have been mediocre at best. Experience number one I received a small lunch portion of dinner but I always order extra rice so I stretched it out. Experience number two this time the meal was missing gravy. No sauce at all! What I received was watered down brown water with none of the good flavor I’m accustomed to. The price has gone up tremendously but I haven’t complained because I get it but if the quality is gonna crash then I say pass on this one. I’m looking for another restaurant. Any suggestions?

First & last visit: We asked the waiter, who we saw being rude to other tables previously, about a kids menu or a side shrimp fried rice and he said, “No kids menu, only 15$ entree and no customizations” and when we declined he then said !!!!!! “thank you for that delay”!!!!!!! The place smelled like KFC, the food was not as pictured and the pricing was too high.

I've been looking for a Chinese restaurant that has good food and a nice upscale atmosphere. At Ho Wah I found it. The drink and food menu is not as extensive as some Chinese restaurants, but there is still a good range of appetizers, soups, and dishes with duck, noodles, rice, chicken, seafood, beef, pork, and vegetarian.
The alcoholic beverages were generously sized.
I enjoyed the best egg roll I've had since moving to the Cleveland area, the pot stickers were also very good.
The chicken Kung Pao was delicious. I didn't order a specific spice heat level. My wife found it perfect, I enjoyed it very much but next time I might ask for a slightly higher spice level.
The pork lo mein was very tasty. The noodles were unusually thin for lo mein, almost like angel hair pasta.
Was very disappointed and surprised that it appeared canned bean sprouts were used in Chicken chow mien.
