Nervous Dog Coffee Bar, Beachwood

Met a friend for coffee, they made my drink correctly but made my friends drink with whole milk instead of oat milk. When she politely asked if it was oat milk the barista made a comment along the lines of “so you stood here this whole time and never said anything” The barista was SOOOO incredibly rude. We had no idea she was making a drink for our order. Proceeded to make snippy comments, will not be going back here completely appalled how we were treated. Unfriendly staff and would rather take my business elsewhere.

Feels like an old-skool 2nd-wave coffee house. The coffee is a 6, maybe 7 out of 10, but the cozy feeling inside (or “vibe,” to use the parlance of our time) gives one nostalgia for the 1990s. And on that note, I approve.

Want to order online? THINK AGAIN! The Beachwood location DOES NOT accept online orders. I ordered online and my order went to the west Akron location. The breve and caramel macchiato were mid at best, and waaaayyyy too sweet.

The only place around to have a good coffee, unfortunately the timings have been reduced and reduced with some times closed downs for long periods. “Lack of staff” either they pay too low or they do not care about the customer satisfaction :(

Man... If they were open past 2pm, I'd live here. GREAT location, GREAT staff, and dear Lord those Russian tea biscuits... Plus their chai here tastes much different than SB, Dunkin, or Sheetz. It's got an almost floral quality. Try it with oat milk!! ?

I’d give negative stars if I could. Rude staff. They did not even acknowledge myself or husband while we were standing at the counter I ordered a sandwich and they said no. The ovens are off but…. They were actively making a sandwich using the oven.
I had a bad experience before with the girl touching the register and making something using the same gloves I had to ask her to change her gloves
I will not be returning this location

Great spot for a nice pastry and beverage! The coffee bar has such a great atmosphere and electric vibe! I absolutely loved the apple fritter; prob one of the best apple fritters that have ever graced my mouth! ?

Nervous Dog offers great coffee and pastries. The atmosphere in the mornings is relaxing. It is worth going to on a regular to share time with friends or have some time for yourself.

I used to really love this place but now the same cup of coffee I get every time taste different every single time it’s made and when I see certain people making it I turn around and leave because I know it’s going to be watered down and nasty. But the people who do make it right are the best. I’m just tired of wasting money on coffee I won’t drink because it’s that awful.
