So I knew going in that this place has been a mainstay in Cleveland for years. The decor right off reflected it - it was like stepping back into the 70's complete with a cranky grandma hostess. I ordered the Sammy K and let me tell you it was packed so high filled with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese that I'm still at a loss at how to eat it as a sandwich. I ended up cutting it up and eating it with a fork and it was delicious. Where they lost me was the "cup of coleslaw" that came with it - was only about 2 oz - if that. The table did have yummy pickles though. Our server and especially our busser were amazing. So why the three stars? Between the high prices ($17) and hard to eat sandwich, weird decor and lighting and sad, sad coleslaw (and potato salad for that matter) - I just thought it was meh. If you like a good corn beef or pastrami sandwich though it might be for you - but - shrug - I don't think for me.
Absolutely amazing 😍 everything was perfect!!
If you are over 50yrs old & or in a wheelchair this is not for you. We were asked to leave & not return…… We were also that we were hurting their business by having seniors & yes some of them in wheelchairs in their restaurant. Funny thing is the woman that said this was 90!!! I think it’s just a shame that the day was ruined for these seniors that very rarely get to go out for a meal…
It's been probably 20 or more years since I last visited Corky & Lenny's, and it's still the great deli it has always been for decades. Breakfast here still commands full attention, and I walked back on memory lane by ordering Pastrami & Eggs. It comes with toast (I selected rye and was really pleased with the quality of bread, perfectly toasted). The scrambled eggs were loaded with sautéed delicious pastrami, and combined presented a wonderful savory flavor. Service by Julia was superb -- refilled coffee at least 3 times, and such a sweet demeanor. Breakfast was high value -- basically $16 for a huge portion. Look forward to returning hopefully on my next visit to the Cleveland area.
they used to have famous corned beef. I loved it. It was well marbled, tender, succulent. I just got some corned beef today after a long time away from visiting this restaurant and it is extremely lean, not tasty, dry...way too lean. Not at all like their classic that I remember. at $27 a lb, it was NOT worth it. If it were like it was as I remembered, I would be willing to pay that.
Great food! Make a reservation is recommended.
Great service, Great food!
Okay deli food. Nothing too special and the prices seemed a bit high. The staff seemed in a rush. The side portion was the size of a condiment cup.
We picked up Pastrami to take home. Worst quality pastrami we have ever had. More than half of it was just fat: not edible. Unfortunately we did not watch him slice it and live too far to go back and return it. At $24.99/lb expected better.
We came for lunch at this wonderful deli. We remembered eating there many years ago and were glad to find that they still live up to their high standard . The corned beef and the pastrami sandwiches were huge and delicious. Their pickels were great. We enjoyed every morsel. Highly recommended

Matzo ball soup ordered. Bowl was filthy. Returned. Waitress accosted me for not paying. Then accused me of lying about the return. She didn't even serve me. Waited for manager, Never showed. No way to treat customer.
We love the food here but after several visits I probably wont be back. The waitresses have been short and rude with us everytime we have been here. Its pricey but good, just wish they were friendlier.
Had lunch and breakfast there - great corn beef sandwich! Clean and good service. Its been years since I was in the area and I was excited to see this sixty plus year establishment still going strong.
We always bring our out of town guests to the infamous Corky and Lenny’s because it is always fun and yummy. Love the sandwiches which I always have enough to bring home for leftovers. One of the family favorites is the Mish Mosh soup.
Order the reuben. I know this is not profound as this is what they are known for, but order the reuben sandwich. The regular reuben sandwich is simply amazing. Words cannot describe this sandwich. Drove from downtown Cleveland on vacation just to come try the reuben at Corky and Lenny’s. I would have sat in traffic for this sandwich.
