Food quality is consistent. Believe it or not, I prefer the Xenia location. Nicer & more attentive staff with cleaner dining area. When visiting this location the floor is always dirty, half the tables needed cleared off & staff is less friendly. Meh. I'll take the short drive for the better experience.

While visiting in Dayton we happened upon skyline chili my husband would travel miles out of the way to eat at skyline chili. I never got to experience this with him but I got to experience it with my daughter and granddaughter and great-grandson while in Dayton and it was a nice experience and to have the memorabilia on top of it was really sweet

All I can think is that Skyline Chili must be an acquired taste. I’m not from Ohio, but have heard this one of the foods that originated here.

I ordered a three way. It is a bowl of hot water with some over-cooked spaghetti noodles a little bit of chili and a bunch of shredded cheese. Something had an odd taste. Not sure if it was the chili (which kind of floated in the hot water) or the cheese. Either way, I didn’t care for it. I can check it off my list,...
