The rice, veggies, and my chicken were all great. My wife's Filet was very sub par. It tasted really cheap like Omaha Steaks. They also forgot my order of Gyoza.
Hours aren't accurate
I got the Filet and Scallop combo, cooked fresh and very good, even better with the sauce that comes on the side. I have to say the portion of meat that is given is disappointing, you most certainly have to pay additional for extra, but you will enjoy.
Overall, I would recommend eating here.

Daruma Hibachi Express is known for its excellent service and delicious Hibachi dishes, considered by some to be the best in the Dayton area. Popular menu items include fried rice, Vegetables, Chicken, and Shrimp. The steak has been noted to be overcooked at times, but the filet is tender and full of flavor. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and made-to-order with generous proportions. The staff is friendly, and there's a cozy area to dine in by the windows. While the location is small and mostly for takeout, the quality of the food is surprisingly good—better than many regular hibachi restaurants. The mango strawberry smoothie is a must-try. Parking is easy, and the price is unbeatable.
