Winking Lizard Bedford Heights

I like this place, but I'll start off with a warning: If you've eaten here or plan to eat here, check your bank statement if you pay with a card. I left an $8.00 tip and the server keyed in $80.00. I have no idea if this was intentional or accidental, but it has never happened to me here or at any other restaurant. I caught it because I audit my bank statements. I called and spoke with a manager who was very helpful in getting it resolved.

I come here almost weekly and have always had a good experience. I can't speak much to most of the food because I always get traditional wings and a small house salad, but I can say the wings are always on point, and the salad is fresh and pretty large for a small. The sauce selection is awesome (Chipotle Chili and Spicy Sesame are my favorites). The beer selection is great; they have staples and others that they regularly rotate. I rated the service at 3 stars because it can be hit or miss. Overall it's generally good, but has been slow at times where there are not a lot of customers and seemingly quite a few servers. Conversely, I've had excellent service when the opposite was true.

Poor review due to awful pizza. I hear the ribs are good, just avoid their pizza. Tasted like supermarket frozen pizza

Kid-friendliness: Coloring stuff food selection and an iguana to keep the kids entertained.

Wheelchair accessibility: Making sure everyone can be included, winking lizard does a great job allowing everyone a chance to enjoy good food and company!

I keep going back to this place and I keep getting disappointed. How is it so popular? The food is consistently just plain BAD enough that I can't enjoy the big screen TVs and solid servers and fun crowd. Fix the food!

The wait staff is very friendly let me get that out of the way. But omg we waited 1:45 minutes for a table. I walked around for an hour looking at all the tables that just needed to be bussed that’s all I counted 11 potential open tables at one point but due to the amount of online orders it took for ever. Whoever is the owner needs to seriously consider opening up a separate kitchen for takeout only. There is absolutely no reason to make people in the restaurant wait for hours for your mid ass food. I was seriously considering just helping bus a few tables it was that bad. The owner of this place needs to make some changes because he’s losing a lot of money on people leaving due to the long wait. In all do not go here unless you order to go it’s not worth the wait.

First time in a very long time we had great service somewhere. ? it was amazing.

It's a great place to hang with friends, It's a bit hard to walk around the bar, if you like crowded bars it's highly recommended

Update: it has now been almost a week and i still dont have my refund just got off the phone with another manager named Gregg hopefully i get a refund. This review is solely based off my interaction with a Lady named Christina. She was very rude when I came back in asking for a refund. They literally burnt the chicken to a crisp. Then told me she could not provide me with the receipt?? If you go to this location avoid Christina she has a mean attitude and cuts you off

Have been to clambakes in the past here and they were always top notch, went to the Lizard last Friday night for the clambake and it was a disappointment. The ribs were tough, the clams OK but my wife did not really like hers, said they were rubbery. The service was 2nd rate, had to keep after our server for refills on soft drinks, getting utensils, and finally our check. Don't know if we will go back there again for the clambake.

Just had the Ultimate Chocolate Cake at the Independence location - awesome! Any chocolate lover will not be dissapointed! Smooth, rich, creamy, and just the right size - not a gigantic slab that you won't be able to finish. I miss the dessert of the month, but this helps make up for that. Good job folks!
